Avalon of Disaster revolves around the MC, who dedicated his life to an MMORPG called Dunex. He was so invested that he was invited to be a beta tester of a new game, but he was accidentally transported into the world itself! To make things worse, the MC wasn’t the hero but the fat villain who had to prove himself.
Avalon of Disaster Chapter 26 will be airing at the end of this week! Butao had been encountering demons in the previous chapters after paying a visit to the Citadel, causing him to take more damage than expected. In Chapter 25, he pays a visit to Obaba’s shop with his sister Kano to recover from his injuries.
When he comes back, he finds Kaoru in his home, worried about his well-being. The chapter ends on a cliffhanger with many questions left unanswered- including the identity of the other human who went to meet Furufuru (the owner of Obaba’s shop).
Recap
In the previous Chapter, Butao went to the Obaba shop with Kano, and He went to meet Furufuru to heal from the damages done to him and also check out all the materials the shop had in store. As soon as they enter, Kano notices the Mithril and how expensive it is.
She asks Butao if the demons used yen, and he replies saying that they either use their dungeon currency or magic stones to pay. Mid-conversation, Furufuru comes, and Butao asks her to heal him from the abnormal effects.
She agrees to the price of 3 copper coins and unwinds the damage that had been done to Butao’s arms and legs. Noticing how Butao may have pushed himself too far, Furufuru decides to heal his eye for free and tries to explain how all these injuries were because of an irregularity.
In his inner monologue, Butao is confused about how the irregular ended up on the seventh floor. He tells himself how he would’ve avoided the Citadel at all costs if it wasn’t for the Armoured Night Job that the game provided.
On their way out, Butao thanks her, and Furufuru mentions how there haven’t been many visits to the shop. She suddenly remembers when a human came to visit and asked if anyone had been there before. This raised his suspicions as it meant that the person was definitely a player.
Not many people were aware of Obaba’s shop. Knowing the place meant that they were being faced with monsters. However, what made it questionable was the fact that the human didn’t buy anything from the store, especially if he had magic stones and good assortments.
Butao believed that the human might have been one of the people who intervened in the duel between Akagi and Kariya. He tried to remember if there was anyone suspicious from school but brushed it off when he realized he didn’t have much intel being an introvert.
By the time they came back home, it was already dusk. Butao had slept from noon to the next morning because of his injuries. When they came back home, Kano went back to her room after noticing people from school.
Butao noticed Kaoru in the dining hall and was shocked to find her eating with his parents. She tells him how she was worried as he had skipped school. The chapter ends with Kaoru confessing how she thought Butao had been defeated by a slime again, so she paid him a visit.
