Heroes and Villains will be back on television soon with an all-new episode of Australian Survivor. With major strategical play starting right from the beginning, this season is sure to have much more drama to be served.
Coming from the creator Charle Parsons, the show was originally released in 2002, after being inspired by the popular series Survivor. It ended up being axed after a few seasons and was later revived in the year 2016. Since then, Australian Survivor has had multiple seasons, with even celebrity versions being released for the audience.
The latest season, which has been airing since January 2023 is titled Heroes V Villains. The format of this series revolves around a set of 20+ contestants who are divided into two or more tribes. These tribes will be competing against each other in all kinds of showdowns, and those who win these challenges would be given items of luxury, Immunity, food, or any other desired objects.
Asides from competing in these challenges, the survivors are made to live in an isolated environment without any food or shelter provided beforehand. They are tested physically, mentally, and emotionally to see just how much they’d risk for necessities. The losing team will be made to go through the Tribal council, where they’ll have to eliminate someone from the group by voting.
Australian Survivor Season 10: The Contestants
The Heroes V Villains had started with about 24 contestants from all walks of life. Half of these people were ex-Australian Survivor returnees while the others were new contestants. The grouping for Heroes V Villains was done after analyzing the personality traits. Australian Survivor Season 10 Episode 5: Recap
Up until now, we’ve seen the two tribes do their best to win each challenge. Despite putting up a good fight, the villains have found themselves repeatedly falling into the dreaded elimination. The previous episode had a Hero get eliminated for the first time since the season began.
George, who has self-declared himself as the king of his tribe, had returned to the show after being treated for an injury. The blissful peace of the Hero tribe is ruined when a new challenge shows up. Winning this challenge would allow whoever wins to perform a raid on the enemy tribe, and loot all their food.
After an intense battle, the first challenge has Villains as the victors, and they raid up the well-established stay of the Heroes. George tries to break down their shelters, but Mimi stops them. With most of the leaders without their allies, they can now only rely on Immunity to keep themselves away from elimination.
The tribes face yet another challenge, where they have to rush through obstacles and complete a giant puzzle. This challenge sees Heroes as the victors and grants them immunity from performing a Tribal Council.
