Arpita Khan gets trolled for her differences with her husband, Ayush Sharma, who, on the other hand, gets his intention to marry Arpita questioned. Someone went one step ahead and posted a (now-deleted) video on YouTube claiming Arpita Khan’s Divorce in 2019. According to the video, Ayush exited a place with his son, Ahil, but not Arpita.
Thus, rumors regarding their divorce spread, and people hunted for the truth. Amid the chaos, the couple took to Instagram and clarified their doubts. The clarification was necessary for two reasons. First, people can easily spread rumors regarding the celebrities. Second, we cannot trust everything on the internet.
Arpita Khan, born in August 1989, is Salman’s foster younger sister. She studied at London College of Fashion and has a Fashion Marketing and Management degree. Born in October 1990, Ayush Sharma is an Indian Assistant Director turned actor who appears in Hindi films. His father is a cabinet minister in Himachal Pradesh.
He does not hesitate to stay away from the limelight to learn new things in acting. He thought one film would change his life before he entered the glamorous-looking Bollywood, but the bubble burst when he entered it.
Arpita Khan Divorce
According to the couple’s Instagram video, Ayush and Arpita watched the YouTube video spreading their divorce rumor, and Arpita clarified that they are not planning for a divorce. Further, Ayush sarcastically apologized for exiting the place without Arpita.
Arpita Khan is Salman Khan’s adoptive sister and often gets trolled for her skin color and body weight, which do not match her family or husband. Fed up with it, Ayush Sharma reacted to people’s comments through a TEDx talk last year.
According to Ayush, internet users always remind her of her skin color. They ask her to be in shape and dress a certain way while commenting on her photos available on the internet, and Ayush realizes how people prioritize external beauty over internal.
According to Ayush, Arpita agrees she is not a celebrity and does not do anything to be one. She is happy with her life behind the camera, and Ayush is proud of her, irrespective of her appearance.
Ayush And Arpita’s Love Life
Ayush Sharma was twenty-four when asking Arpita’s hand from Salman. However, they were already dating each other without letting Salman know. Once, Arpita called him home after a party to watch TV. The next day, Salman called him again after doing some research and asked for his plans.
Accordingly, Ayush said he wanted to marry Arpita and asked for her hand from Salman instead of proposing to her. Further, he confessed that he was relying on his family’s financial support as he had no source of income, and Salman liked his honesty.
Though adopted by a Muslim family, Arpita’s wedding with Ayush took place according to Hindu rituals in 2014.
The couple has a son, Ahil (born in 2016), and a daughter, Ayat (born in 2019). They used to post their children’s images on social media to keep their fans updated. However, they decided to stop doing so to keep their children away from online hatred.
Ayush said he would let his kids handle social media only when they get old enough to handle online trolls. There is no such chance now because they are too young to do it.
People Question Ayush’s Intention To Marry Arpita
Arpita Khan’s brother, Salman Khan, is a Bollywood superstar. Moreover, their two brothers, Sohail Khan and Arbaz Khan, are well-established actors. However, Ayush Sharma is yet to establish himself, though he starred in two films, Love Yatri (2018) and Antim (2021).
Both films were produced by Salman Khan under his own production house, Salman Khan Productions. People were already wondering whether he tied the knot with Arpita (in 2014) to use Salman’s fame and money for his own career, and the two films added oil to the fire.
Ayush opened up about the trolling in an interview with Times Of India. He said he married Arpita because he loved her and was hurt when people questioned his intention to marry her.
People often troll him for splurging Salman’s money and accepting a Rolls Royce as a gift on his wedding with Arpita. As of June 2023, Ayush claimed to wonder where the Rolls Royce was.
Ayush shared the screen with Salman Khan in Antim (2021) and felt lucky to work with the biggest superstar. They were comfortable with each other, but everyone on the set, including Ayush, had to be within limits while interacting with Salman Khan.
