AOA, which is also an acronym for Ace of Angels, is an eight members group that FNC Entertainment debuted in 2012. The initial line-up consisted of Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun, and Dohwa (Chanmi). Being the girl group of the moment and the era AOA saw massive success in their early years and made a Japan debut as well.
AOA has three sub-units under it; they are AOA White, AOA Cream, and AOA Black. The last subunit was active from 2013 to 2021. AOA Cream consists of three members they are Yuna, Hyejeong, and Doha. AOA Cream made its debut on February 12, 2016, as a three-member sub-unit. They have also released a debut single called ‘I’m Jelly Baby.’
AOA is well known for songs like Miniskirt, Short Hair, Excuse Me, Good Luck, Give Me The Love, Heart Attack, Like a Cat, Bingle Bangle, and the like. AOA has covered genres of music like K-pop, J-pop, Dance-pop, RnB, and Pop Rock. AOA has released three studio albums, six EPs, and nineteen singles.

Yuna
Seo Yu Na, or Yuna, was the former Main Vocalist of AOA’s sub-unit AOA Cream. She was born on December 30, 1992, in Busan, South Korea. She is 163 cm tall and has a younger sister who is also an idol in the girl group Berry Good under the stage name Seoyul. Yuna has been playing the piano since the age of seven.
Yuna stayed at her uncle’s place in Seoul while she practiced and auditioned for auditions at companies. She debuted as a member of AOA on August 29, 2012. She has an angel name which is Yunaria.
She also debuted as a member of AOA’s sub-unit, AOA Black, in 2013 and AOA Cream in 2016. She also writes songs and composes them. Her songwriter’s name is E.Na. She has also played the lead role in a Japanese musical called, ‘Summer Snow’ and has provided hidden vocals for ITZY and TWICE.
She has been part of dramas and web series. January 1, 2021, marks the day her contract with FNC Entertainment expired, and she decided not to renew the contract. Furthermore, she left the group as well. She is currently signed under Treasure Hunter, which is an agency for content creators, and has also become a Yoga instructor.
Hyejeong
Shin Hye Jeong, or Hyejeong, is the Lead Vocalist, Lead Dance, and Visual of AOA’s sub-unit, AOA Cream. She was born on August 10, 1993, in Seoul in South Korea. She is 170cm tall and is an only child to her parents. She has been a shy person but started gaining confidence once she became a cheerleader and a promotional model at her high school.
Hyejeong’s mother had signed her up for a beauty pageant, where she qualified till the third preliminary round, and here she was scouted by a casting director at FNC Entertainment and soon became a trainee in August 2010. She has starred in a few dramas.
Chanmi/Dohwa
Kim Chanmi or Chanmi, who changed her name legally to Im Chanmi and finally to Im Doh-wa, is the Main Dancer, Main Rapper, Vocalist, and Maknae of the sub-unit AOA Cream.
She was born on June 19, 1996, in Gumi, South Korea, but soon, by age six, she moved with her parents to Daegu in South Korea. She is 166 cm tall and has an older sister and a younger sister. She is the maknae of the group AOA and has also debuted in AOA White.
She used to go to dancing school and was scouted while she was dancing during a basketball game when she was in the second year of middle school. She sleeptalks and sleeps.
Her angel name in AOA is Chanmi T.T. All through the years of her career, she has acted in dramas, web series, reality TV shows, and the like, and she also is a successful actress. Doha was a member of Six Puzzle in Queendom
Debut
AOA Cream, which is a sub-unit of the girl group AOA (Ace of Angels), debuted on February 12, 2016, under FNC Entertainment. On January 1, 2021, Yuna, the eldest member of AOA Cream, left the company as well as the group AOA along with the sub-units.

AOA Cream’s debut single, ‘I’m Jelly Baby,’ was released on February 11, 2016. The single charted at #26 on the Korean Gaon Charts, and in 2019, the girls performed this single on a TV show titled Queendom.
