It is a sad day indeed as former Nickelodeon personality turned soap opera star Robyn Griggs has passed away. She was 49 years old. The devastating news was further confirmed by her friend, who took to Facebook and penned down a heartfelt note.
The heartfelt note read how the actress is no longer suffering and would want them all to remember that and the good memories. In the statement, the friend further revered how Robyn used to tell her story and was accepting of her helping her tell it, as she wanted to help people and spread the word of her story to do it.
Robyn Griggs Starred in Another World and One Life to Live
The One Life to Live star earlier revealed in previous posts that she had been battling stage four endocervical adeno cancer and gave an update to her followers last month that she had four tumors while further adding that two new tumors on found on her liver, one on abdominal muscle and a large one on the right side lymph node.
The actress got her big break in the showbiz business by appearing on Nickelodeon’s Rated K. Griggs landed her big debut as Stephanie Hobart on One Life to Live and soon became a recurring role for six episodes as she also appeared on Another World, where she portrayed the character of Maggie Cory, the role was loved by all and went on to last her in the show for two years.
The actress has starred in several movies, including Severe Injuries, Dead Clowns, The Absence of Light, and Hellweek. Griggs also acted in horror movies horrors as “Zombiegeddon,” “Severe Injuries” and “Minds of Terror”. A few days before Robyn’s death, her father informed her via Facebook that she was going to be placed in hospice care while adding that she has fought with determination, strength, and grace, and it is nothing short of inspirational.
