Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space has received its Version 3.16.50 update, bringing one of the game’s biggest content drops in recent months. Released on August 6, the update expands the ongoing New Apocrypha storyline with The Ghosts of Hope Part 3: Severed Days of Glory, introduces the new ally Theodorus, and debuts the long-awaited Alterfit customization system. Alongside the new story content, players can also take advantage of the second phase of the game’s Summer Campaigns, offering increased Chronos Stones, daily rewards, and additional limited-time bonuses.
Developed by Wright Flyer Studios, Another Eden has surpassed 15 million downloads across platforms and continues to expand its single-player JRPG experience with regular story updates rather than seasonal content. Version 3.16.50 follows that approach by adding fresh narrative chapters, gameplay features, and quality-of-life additions while rewarding both new and returning players with multiple in-game events running throughout August and September.
Another Eden Version 3.16.50 adds new story chapter, Theodorus, and Alterfits
The headline addition in Version 3.16.50 is Apocrypha “The Ghosts of Hope” Part 3: Severed Days of Glory, which continues the latest story arc featuring Aldo and Ruvi. According to the official story description, the pair find themselves inside an ancient arena where powerful fighters gather to compete for the title of Ultimate Fighter.
The official synopsis states: “Aldo and Ruvi find themselves in an ancient arena filled with powerful competitors aiming for the ultimate title, among them a fierce phantom being cheered on by the raucous crowd. Their only choice to face him is to step into the ring.” The story also introduces retired fighter Theodorus, who is recruited to train one of the contenders before the tournament begins.
Coinciding with the story expansion, Theodorus, voiced by Andrew James Spooner, joins the roster as a brand-new playable ally through the latest Encounters.
Another major addition is the debut of Alterfits, a cosmetic feature that allows players to change the appearance of their allies. Unlike standard outfits, Alterfits also unlock fully voiced mini-quests, giving players additional character interactions alongside the new costumes.
The first collection introduces Resort Fits for Claude (Rory Fleck Byrne), Isuka (Samantha Dakin), and Hismena (Riona O’Connor). Players can purchase Alterfits using Paid Chronos Stones through the in-game shop. Limited-time bundles include multiple Alterfits alongside guaranteed 5-Star Encounter tickets, while individual Alterfits remain permanently available. Purchased outfits are retained even if the corresponding character has not yet joined the player’s party.
The update also expands the Temporal Surveillance Ship Kairos by adding a new Cat Express Ticket destination for Level 4 areas.
Beyond the major additions, Version 3.16.50 includes new progression content such as Mistrare (Isaiah)’s Manifestation weapon, the Book of Brawler entry in the Astral Archive, and additional archive challenges.
Summer Campaign Part II brings more Chronos Stones and daily rewards
The second phase of Another Eden’s Summer Campaign launches alongside the update and significantly increases daily rewards for players.
Between August 5 and August 18 (UTC), Today’s Special Item rewards increase from 20 to 50 Chronos Stones. During the same period, players can open a daily treasure chest in the Spacetime Rift containing Green Key x4, Red Key x3, and Cat Express Ticket x3.
The Cat Scratchbook More Cats Campaign also returns, allowing one additional cat to appear each day, making it easier to increase Scratchbook levels and collect rewards.
Players progressing through The Ghosts of Hope can earn even more resources. Achievement rewards for clearing Parts 1 through 3 have temporarily increased from 50 to 100 Chronos Stones until September 30, 2026, with eligible players receiving the additional rewards through their in-game inbox.
The update also continues the Story Spotlight Campaign, rewarding players with Lone Encounter Tickets for clearing selected Episodes, including The 1000 Year Ark of the Ocean Palace and The 3000 Realm Ark and the Sea Abyss before the campaign deadline.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is currently available on Steam, iOS, and Android, with Version 3.16.50 now live across all supported platforms.
