Jujutsu Kaisen has been all over the anime part of the internet for the last two years. Rightfully so, since it gives us an engaging story as well as amazing characters. The story is given to us by the writer and illustrator Gege Akutami. Its first chapter was released in March 2018 and was adapted into an anime in 2020. Not very long ago, a movie was released with the name Jujutsu Kaisen 0 that told the story of the events before the ongoing events in the anime. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released internationally on March 18, and fans have been anticipating watching their favorite character on screen again, especially the character Gojo Satoru. So, while we love Gojo Satoru, let’s look at some other anime characters similar to him.
It is a common thing for authors to love their characters. However, the author of Jujutsu Kaisen has stated that they dislike Gojo Satoru among all their characters. The reason behind this is that Gojo is too op and is a difficult character to continue the story with. Thus, Gege states that it is difficult for them to write fight scenes as Gojo would be able to solve the issue within seconds. Yet again, this is the exact reason why Gojo Satoru is loved among as well as the “husbando” of many people regardless of their gender. Thus, to help us all not fight over “Mr. Dreamy Blue Eyes,” here are 11 other characters who are like Gojo Satoru.
Hatake Kakashi (Naruto Series)
Gojo was first compared to Hatake Kakashi from the Naruto series. However, although they share similarities in having three students they adore as well as hidden faces, Hatake Kakashi is more like the introverted ninja twin of Gojo Satoru. They do share some other traits, though, like being lazy as well as careless sometimes. Not only this, but they would also flip the world upside down if anybody harmed their students. Gojo and Kakashi also come from a rough and painful background of losing their best friends.

Yami Sukehiro (Black Clover)
Speaking of flipping the world upside down when it comes to their students, next up on the list is Yami Sukehiro from Black Clover. Yami is the captain of the Black Bulls squad, a group of imperfect magic users. The trait he shares with Gojo is that of seeing potential in his subordinates. When everybody had rejected Asta, the main protagonist of Black Clover, Yami was the one who was ready to take him in his squad. Similarly, Gojo Satoru was ready to place a bet on Itadori Yuuji’s potential and take him under his wing as a student.
Kuro Tetsuro (Haikyu!!)
Besides typing as ENTPs in the MBTI assessment and having the same voice actor, Kuro and Gojo share the traits of being obnoxious as well as provocative. Kuro Tetsuro is a character from Haikyuu and is the captain of the Nekoma Volleyball Team. Both Kuro and Gojo do not see a problem with lying to their subordinates if it gets them what they want. For example, Kuro lied to Kenma about not having to move much as a setter in Volleyball. However, their lies also have a deeper meaning to them as they both have a caring side that they show in their own ways. Besides this, another trait that he shares with Gojo Satoru is that of being persuading. The traces of the “friendship” shared between Gojo and Nanami can be seen in the friendship of Kuro and Kenma.
Shigure Sohma (Fruits Basket)
Another character with the same voice actor as Gojo Satoru is Shigure Sohma from Fruits Basket. These two are similar in many ways. They both appear to be easy-going and chill people until it is time for them to get serious. Not only this, but they also share the trait of being parent-like caring. When Shigure noticed that Tohru was all alone, he was ready to welcome her in their house as well as attend parents-teacher meetings for her. Like Gojo, Shigure is also revealed to be a sly person who knows how to get the things he wants through manipulation.
Osamu Dazai (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Dazai and Gojo share the same traits of being goofy and keeping secrets while skillfully avoiding letting them spill out. However, it is said that the most unfortunate part for the enemies of Dazai is that they are Dazai’s enemies. The same can be said for Gojo Satoru’s enemies. Besides this, Gojo and Dazai prioritize killing their enemies over saving the people. If there is an unavoidable sacrifice, they won’t hesitate to be very cold when they fight. Like Gojo, getting close to Osamu Dazai in battles would cause little to no damage at all since one doesn’t allow his enemies to touch him, and the other one can cancel powers if touched by his enemies.
Koro Sensei (Assassination Classroom)
A sensei that gives reasonable advice and is protective of his students while letting them explore the world by themselves are the traits seen in both Gojo Satoru and Koro Sensei. Koro Sensei is from the anime Assassination Classroom. Besides this, they both are characters who are way too strong, so much that nobody can really touch them unless they manage to manipulate the two using emotions. Gojo and Koro-sensei also have the habit of showing off their skills in front of their opponents.

Hange Zoe (Attack on Titan)
If anybody tells Hange Zoe and Gojo Satoru not to touch something unnatural, they both are most likely to go ahead and do it. Hange Zoe from Attack on Titan is another ENTP character that shares the trait of being curious with Gojo. Both of these characters are risk-takers, one interacting with Titans while the other one with the King of Curses. They usually display the “you don’t know unless you try” attitude. Hange Zoe’s curiosity regarding Eren’s transformation into his Titan form is akin to that of Gojo’s curiosity regarding Itadori’s transformation into Sukuna.
Tengen Uzui (Demon Slayer)
Gojo Satoru is someone that Tengen would definitely call “Flashy”. They both share the traits of usually working alone. Besides having pretty hair, they also have the same amount of confidence in not only their skills but also themselves. Tengen usually prefers to work alone and only takes in those who can keep up with him. This is very similar to Gojo’s combat style since he alone is enough to handle situations. In fact, both Gojo and Tengen could make a great team since they both like working with people who don’t slow them down.
Hawks (My Hero Academia)
Both Gojo and Hawks share secretive personalities. Hawks from My Hero Academia gave us the appearance of a laid-back yet mysterious character. However, he has a lot going on behind the scenes which makes him an intriguing character too. Both Hawks and Gojo rose to great power at a very young age. Not only this but they talk to everyone, older or younger to them, in the same manner. They both have shown their quick thinking abilities in times of stressful situations. Both Hawks and Gojo can be called a “one-man army” when it comes to dealing with villainous situations.
Kisuke Urahara (Bleach)
Another laid-back yet cunning character is Kisuke Urahara from Bleach. Not only this, but he is also one of the most intelligent characters in the anime. He shares the trait of usually keeping to himself yet working behind the scenes with Gojo Satoru. Like Gojo, he usually works as the catalyst for many important scenes in the anime. He usually prefers to let others get his work done for him, again showing a manipulative nature. Urahara is shown to have built his confidence over the years. Like Gojo, he too believes that in life and death situations, one should always go for the most effective method, even if it means siding with your enemies for a while.
Urek Mazino (Tower of God)
Although he doesn’t officially has a face reveal in the anime, Urek Mazino from Tower of God is a very powerful character. Both Gojo and Urek are respective for their powers in their own universes. What is even more interesting is that they both have the demeanor of being “just some random attractive guy”. However, when they both have to fight, they do not hesitate to show off the skills they have learned so far.
Not only this, but they both also are arrogant when it comes to how powerful they are. This makes them sometimes look down on anybody who they deem weaker than themselves. However, when it comes to helping their loved ones out, they do not hesitate to offer a hand. Not caring for social status, they both tend to show respect to those who they think are worthy of it.
