Happinet revealed on Friday that Nazuna Miki’s light novel series “I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic” will become an anime. They also shared a teaser picture.
Kabocha, the illustrator of the light novels, along with Rio Akisaki, who works on the manga adaptation, and Taiki Tose, the spinoff manga artist, all created illustrations to mark the exciting news.
Ken’ichi Ishikura, known for directing works like “D.C.III Da Capo III” and “Ongaku Shōjo,” is helming the anime at Studio DEEN and Marvy Jack.
Tatsuya Takahashi, responsible for series scripts in shows like “Domestic Girlfriend” and “Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon,” is leading the scriptwriting. Midori Otsuka, renowned for character design in works like “Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei,” is handling character designs.
Arisa Okehazama, known for composing music for “The Apothecary Diaries” and “Jujutsu Kaisen,” will be in charge of the music composition.
Miki started the light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in September 2019. The first volume with illustrations by Kabocha was published by TO Books in February 2020. Now, the eighth volume is set to released soon.
J-Novel Club acquired the license for the light novel series and plans to release the first volume digitally on April 4th.

Akisaki debuted the manga adaptation on TO Books’ web manga platform, Comic Corona (now Corona EX), back in February 2020.
Following its online serialization, TO Books released the first compiled volume of the manga in September 2020. Fans eagerly anticipate the release of the eighth volume.
Tose introduced the spinoff manga, titled “Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima datta kara Mahō wo Kiwamete Mita: Chris wa Goshujin-sama ga Daisuki!” on TO Books’ web manga platform, Corona EX, on September 14th.
