Prince Harry has been implicated in a $30 million lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is accused of sex trafficking and sexual abuse. The lawsuit alleges that Combs, amidst numerous sexual assault allegations, enticed guests to his notorious parties by leveraging his connections with VIPs, including Prince Harry, alongside other prominent figures like athletes, politicians, and artists.
Record producer Rodney Jones filed a 73-page lawsuit last month, accusing the billionaire of being a serial sex abuser.
There is no implication of wrongdoing by the prince, as his name is merely mentioned once in the documents as an example of a well-known celebrity associate of Combs.
Prince Harry and his brother Prince William were photographed with Combs and Kanye West in 2007 following their performances at the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium.
In his lawsuit, Mr. Jones accuses Combs of sexually assaulting him and alleges that Combs hosted parties attended by sex workers and underage girls.
Jones also claims that Combs coerced him to solicit prostitutes and pressured him into sexual activities with them.
The 54-year-old media mogul has vehemently denied these allegations, labeling them as “pure fiction.”
Combs is additionally facing lawsuits from three other women. Also, federal agents searched two of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation.
US Homeland Security said:
“Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners.”
In November last year, Combs faced a lawsuit from his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, who accused him of raping her, drugging her, and assaulting her over a span of 10 years.
The suit was settled the following day. However, three more lawsuits emerged over the next month, alleging sexual abuse by Combs or his involvement in revenge pornography against the claimants.
In a statement issued in December, Combs denounced the claims as “sickening” and accused his accusers of seeking a “quick payday.”
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth,” he said.
Also known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, Combs is one of the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the 21st century. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Usher, Notorious B.I.G., and Mary J. Blige.
