On Monday the upcoming film ‘Lift’ actor Kevin Hart unveiled the curtain and gave an exclusive glimpse of the chats from the secret society chats. The 44-year-old actor shared that he’s a part of a ‘secret’ group chat about an action movie that includes other stars, including Dwayne Johnson and Tom Cruise, at the premiere of his Netflix movie ‘Lift’.
Hart, who had to lose 4% body fat while he was filming for his action movie, Lift, shared with people that he had a talk about the action stuff with his action buddies during the premiere of the movie. He is truly excited after the talk but is bound to not share it, as it can get him in great trouble.
Kevin Hart pulls the veil from a very secret society.
Kevin Hart himself has reached a level of action star status, and he claims that as well. He said he and his action movie buddies Cruise (61) and Johnson (51) have so much in common.
Hart has appeared in several movies with Johnson, including Central Intelligence (2016), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), and Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw (2019). Based on his action buddy list, he has yet to work with the rest of the stars from the “secret group chat.”.
Hart stated, “We just share action stories. That’s the thing when you are an action guy; you have to have action stories, so I chat is all about pinning action stories and just making sure that everyone’s in sync, you know? That’s what it’s about,” told the people.
Furthermore, he said, “Yup! Dwayne, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Jet Li, and Jackie Chan. All the biggest guys.” Hart jokingly went on to say, “You know, we just talk about action staff” to people at the Lincoln Centre in New York City.
On sharing any further details, he said, “It’s a real secret chat; I shouldn’t be talking about this chat.” He disclosed that conversation by saying, “I could get in a lot of trouble from the other action guys.”.
Hart also shared about the bonding he had during the premiere of the movie on Monday, with the cast of his latest film left with stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon (who played the supporting role in five Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films), Jean Reno, and Sam Worthington, among others.
He told people, “I think there was a consistent, continuous engagement that the cast stayed true to.”
He also shared about the days when they were doing the shooting, in which he said the days on set ended with them being in hotels eating dinner together, whether it was all together or some on different days, but there was always an amazing piece of connectivity that ultimately added value to what they had gotten there.
The movie Lift will premiere in the US and worldwide on Netflix on January 12, 2024. Lift is an action-packed movie directed by F. Gary Grey and written by Daniel Kunka along with being produced by Kevin Hart, Brian Smiley, Matt Reeves, Adam Kassan, Simon Kinberg, and Audrey Chon.
Hart’s character as Cyrus Whittaker is going to be wooed by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI to put together a heist team along with his international crew on a mission of stealing away $500 million in gold from a passenger plane mid-flight among the 777 passengers who are on a flight from London to Zurich.
The movie has also cast Úrsula Corberò Delgado, the Spanish actress who was well known in Spain for her role of Ruth Gomez in the teen drama series Fisica o Quimica but has gained international recognition through her role as Tokyo in the drama series ‘Money Heist’ (2017-2021), following which she made her Hollywood debut through the 2021 superhero release film ‘Snake Eyes’.
