Alexa Bliss, a WWE wrestler who recently had a baby, is on a break from television. Unfortunately, her absence has created an opportunity for people to create fake social media accounts pretending to be her. These imposters have even gone as far as scamming people online.
Mistaken for an Imposter
Recently, Bliss shared a frustrating experience on Twitter. A fan mentioned having a good experience with the Mercari shopping app.
Bliss replied, explaining she was mistaken for a fake account when she tried to use the app. Mercari then deleted her account, and she can’t get it back.
“Haha the person didn’t think I was really me & reported my acct so no hat – just deleted the acct & you can’t get the acct back … oh well haha @mercari_app,” Bliss tweeted.
Despite the inconvenience, Bliss seems to be taking the situation in stride. While she continues to fight against online impersonators, fans wonder when they’ll see her back on WWE television.
Bliss has previously exposed other impersonators, taking it all in stride. Fans are curious when she’ll return to WWE TV, but for now, she’s dealing with the aftermath of online imposters using her name.
