Alana Hadid is following the path of her supermodel sisters, Gigi and Bella Hadid.
Gigi and Bella Hadid’s older sister had her first fashion show on Monday. She started Saks Potts’ spring 2024 show at Copenhagen Fashion Week in Denmark.
The person who co-owns Hadid Eyewear and designs fashion also posted a bunch of photos and videos showing what it was like for them backstage at the Saks Potts’ fashion show. The series of images and videos started with a video of Alana. She was posing in a light blue striped long-sleeve polo during a practice photoshoot inside a white tent with a photographer.
In the next picture, there was a white Saks Potts bag that had Alana’s name on it. After that, there was a photo of Alana sitting in a makeup chair while a stylist was putting her hair up into a ponytail.
Alana stepped into the Saks Potts’ fashion show.
Another video from behind the scene showed Alana and all the models from the show standing together. They were wearing matching yellow long-sleeve button-down shirts.
In a different video, Alana was visibly excited backstage. She was dancing and enthusiastically waving her hands in the air as she got her final touch-ups inside the tent.
Alana also shared videos that revealed her temporary tattoos of animated dolphins in blue and purple. She also posted pictures of her outfit for the runway, which included a snug beige leather jacket, denim pants, a blue sequin wrap skirt/pants, and shin silver chrome thong sandals.
In the following video, her walk on the runway was recorded as she kicked off the Saks Potts fashion show by the sea. To conclude her Instagram update, Alana posted one final picture of herself happily celebrating with her friend.
Alana expressed gratitude to her designer Catherine Saks
Alana showed her appreciation to designer Catherine Saks in the comments. In response to a comment from designer Barbara Potts, she penned, “Love you more. This was dreams.”
Alana’s sibling Marielle playfully added her comment on the post, jesting, “Turn 40 become runway model,” to which Alana replied, “I’m living life backward, and it’s so fun.”
In a 2019 interview with Grazia, Alana openly discussed how her sister’s fame hadn’t altered their bond, stating that even with Gigi and Bella’s widespread recognition and all the effort they have put in, at the core, they are simply sisters. They shop together, enjoy some cooking and maintain a group chat-essentially all the ordinary things that sisters do.
Alana, Bella, and Gigi are all children of Mohamed Hadid. Mr. Hadid, the real estate developer, has Alana and her sister Marielle, aged 42, with his first spouse Mary Butler. He also has Gigi, Bella, and their younger brother Anwar, who is 24, with his second wife, Yolanda Hadid.
