The only Lebanese series that managed to become quite a hit in many countries, Al Thaman, will be releasing its new episode soon. With Karam receiving vigorous chemotherapy, he has been feeling nothing but sadness deep inside as his health seems to be deteriorating at a faster rate compared to before. As for Mia and Zein, the duo seems to be on the verge of finally committing to each other fully.
Airing on MBC since January 8th, 2023, Al Thaman is a romance drama that originates in Lebanon. It is believed to be based on the hit 2006 Turkish show Binbir Gece, which became one of the most-watched shows in Turkey. With the Lebanese version gaining just similar popularity compared to its Turkish counterpart, it looks like Al Thaman will be around for a long time. It started with Sarah looking for a job that would help her pay for her son’s leukemia treatments.
Being a skilled architect, Sarah knows her way around things and easily manages to get an interview at the best Architecture company in the country. What she doesn’t know is that she’ll have to lie about not having any children to work at the place, as Zein, her manager, wanted someone who could devote themselves fully to work. Now that the show has aired more than 70 episodes, the storyline has taken a different turn, with the main protagonists changing their partners as the show went on.
The cast members of Al Thaman consist of Basil Khaiat as Zein, Razane Jammal as Sarah, and Nicholas Mouawad as Karam. We also often see the actors Sara Abi Kanaan and Sabah Al Jazeera. Karam is now the romantic interest for Sarah, while Zein has found himself a potential soulmate named Mia too.
Al Thaman Episode 74: Recap
In the previous episodes of Al Thaman, we see Mr. Ibrahim get caught up in a serious illegal matter and fall into a loop of deceit. He eventually has no choice but to sell his factory. Ibrahim Junior became very much used to Zein being around, and he misses him now that Sarah and Zein have become distant. Whilst Sarah isn’t there, Ibrahim calls Zein to come and meet him.
As Sarah and Zein weren’t going to be a thing, Karam decided to step in and finally confess what he had been feeling for Sarah for a long time. However, things, unfortunately, don’t go as he planned, as Sarah doesn’t really feel the same for now and just wants to focus on her child, Ibrahim. He decides to accept the words Sarah had put down in front of him, even if it means giving up his only chance to be with her.
Tima plans a pleasant surprise for now, heartbroken Karam, but having poor health and stress takes a toll on his body, and she ends up finding him lying on the ground. Mia and Zein decide it’s not the right time for marriage, despite proposing to each other. He makes up for the late wedding by gifting Mia something special and thoughtful.
