At the press conference for Netflix’s new series “Goodbye Earth,” held at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, Ahn Eun-jin opened up about her role as a teacher and the heartwarming experience of working alongside child actors, particularly Kim Kang-hoon.
Ahn Eun-jin shared her delight in portraying a teacher who became like a friend to the children on set, stating, “Since the kids followed me well, I felt so good to become a teacher who was like a friend to them as soon as we met.”
She further revealed her joy at witnessing Kim Kang-hoon’s growth throughout the filming period, mentioning, “When we started filming, Kang-hoon was shorter than me, but he got taller than me as the filming continued. It was great to be with him during his growing period.”
Expressing deep affection for the young actors, Ahn Eun-jin highlighted the challenging nature of some scenes in the series, stating, “We filmed many scenes in extreme situations, so just holding the kids’ hands made me feel like I must protect them.” This sentiment underscores the close bond formed between the cast members amidst the demanding filming conditions.
