After-school Hanako-kun is an anime series and a spin-off, as per the official announcements. Based on the Seven Wonders of Kamome Academy, this spin-off will be yet another set of great animations and a mystery to solve.
In 2020, there was this TV series by the name Toilet-bound Hanako-kun. After-school Hanako-kun is alleged to follow the tale of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, and as expected, Hanako-kun will be the protagonist. This is just the sequel to the canon event.
Based on what the urban legend states, Hanako is the spirit of a young girl who hunts in the school toilets. However, contradicting those urban legends, our Hanako-kun is a male. The spin-off, as it is just a continuation, will continue to follow the original novel of the same title.
The spin-off is to follow a part of the tale of Hanako-kun and the girl who became his assistant, Yoshiro. With elements of comedy, mystery, love, and tragedy. This four-episode spin-off will surely be worth the watch, with just ten minutes of run time for each episode, making it a sweet and fun watch in your breaktime.
After-school Hanako-kun: Trailer & Cast
As you can see below, there is so much fun and excitement in the trailer. Aren’t you excited as well? Critics have been praising the Editing and Cinematography Director, Junko Sakai, for his excellent work. You, too, can keep your hopes high, as this will be yet another blockbuster.
Speaking of the cast, as in Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, the role of Hanako-kun is to be played by Justin Briner once again. This surely is the reason for how well he fits the role of Hanako-kun, giving the viewers the best experience.
The spirit Hanako is being voiced by Megumi Ogata, while Tyson Rinehart is to play the role of Kou. There are other foreign artists, such as Tia Lynn Ballard and Lindsay Seidel, playing the roles of Nene Yashiro and Mokke, respectively.
The other side roles that you might get to see in this spin-off, such as Kou Minamoto and Sakura Nanamine, are being played by Shoya Chiba and Chika Anzai, respectively. As there are not any new characters in this spin-off, there is a high chance of you finding the series very familiar.
After-school Hanako-kun Episode 1: Spoilers & What To Expect?
As After-school Hanako-kun Episode 1 will just be ten minutes long, keep no expectations of the director introducing the characters. Also, there are very few chances of any new characters, as this is just a spin-off and will cover what was not covered in the previous part.
The first episode may start off with a kick-ass Hanako-kun entry, and then we might just begin with the story part that they want us viewers to know. Looks like there will be good news soon, right after this spin-off.
