The British-American actress Sienna Miller has officially given birth to her second child, and was seen for the first time on camera on 3 January 2024, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The 42-year-old actress gave birth to a daughter with her 27-year-old partner Oli Green, and she was spotted going out for the first time with her new baby on Wednesday.
From her former relationship with the 38-year-old English actor Tom Sturridge, she also shares her firstborn daughter named Marlowe, who is now 10 years old.
The Alfie star, wearing a denim jumpsuit and khaki coat with a £3,300 premium Artipoppe baby carrier strapped to her, looked chic as she went to a coffee shop in west London. The very expensive baby carrier is made out of premium materials like vicuña and mulberry silk.
During a beach vacation on the island of Ibiza in August, Sienna revealed her pregnancy publicly for the first time as she was spotted out with a bump in her belly.
In December, Sienna revealed she was expecting a girl and talked about her pregnancy for the first time during an interview for a Vogue cover. She showed off her baby bump in amazing pictures that were taken to go alongside Oli and Marlowe.
Although Sienna was open about the fact that her pregnancy was “unplanned,” she also acknowledged that she feels “more psychologically prepared” than she did for her first child. Sienna also revealed in the interview that Marlowe has been hoping for a younger sibling for quite a while.

Stigmas Around Older Pregnancies
Sienna revealed in a video she filmed with Vogue that she has been battling her own stereotypes about being an older mother. She faced a lot of criticism from the internet, had learnt that she needs to stop making light of the serious situation.
“I’d love to get to a point where I didn’t feel the need to make a joke of my being older and having a baby, to show I’m in on the joke,” she told her interviewer.
Sienna continued to face the stigma associated with childbearing as an older woman, criticizing it as: “I think people are comfortable with a way of living that has existed for many years, which is very misogynistic and patriarchal.”
She further explained, “Like me being the older woman in a partnership with a younger person or being pregnant over 40 and that that’s irresponsible and poor child and it’s such double standards.”
She remarked, “I have expectations where I had none before,” when asked what is different this time around. “I feel much more psychologically prepared than I was with Marlowe. It was quite a shock, the reality. I hadn’t given it the thought, I guess you can’t prepare for it. In my mind I imagine it’s going to be the loveliest, but I think I’ve forgotten.”
The First Birth Experience
During the interview with Vogue, Sienna recalled the difference between how her mentality saw pregnancy during her first childbirth, and how she plans to do things now.
She acknowledged that she was moving with a “slight waddle” and that she was “feeling” pregnant in her “head and face” when she was about to have Marlowe. She also reported needing to use the restroom about “eighteen times a night.”
According to Sienna, she was determined to give birth to Marlowe “naturally,” using her 44-year-old sister Savannah as her doula (she had given birth at home multiple times).
Rather, she had to undergo a grueling 27 hours of labor after being induced at the hospital. After receiving an emergency C-section, Sienna described the procedure as “destabilizing.”
She added, “It was so essential in my mind that I got it ‘right.’ And so emblematic of the kind of mother I would be that I didn’t. But I know in retrospect that was just the demons of new motherhood. This time, I just don’t think I’ll put that pressure on myself.”
When asked about her partner’s 15-year age gap, Sienna told Vogue: “I would imagine it would be complicated for anyone to get their head around, but there’s been nothing but love and joy.”
