Gremory Games has revealed the contents of the upcoming Action Taimanin update scheduled for August 4, 2026, introducing one of the game’s biggest content drops of the year. Headlining the update is the arrival of Maya Cordelia as a new playable character, alongside the debut of the long-awaited LR rarity tier for weapons and supporters. The update also expands endgame content with new cooperative features, additional Arena Tower floors, seasonal events, and exclusive cosmetic items.
The August patch continues to build on Action Taimanin’s blend of fast-paced hack-and-slash combat and RPG progression. Players can look forward to fresh rewards through login campaigns, limited-time gachas, new event stories, and multiple character costumes throughout the month. With both new and veteran Commanders receiving additional progression opportunities, the update aims to significantly expand the game’s combat and customization systems.
Maya Cordelia joins Action Taimanin as a limited playable character
The centerpiece of the August update is the introduction of Maya Cordelia, a princess knight who crosses dimensions to join the battle. Maya fights primarily with a sword and brings a unique combat style centered around her Swordmaster trait skill.
Swordmaster links Maya’s final attack into a dodge before launching a series of teleportation-based follow-up strikes. During these chained attacks, she becomes completely invincible, giving players a powerful new offensive option while maintaining mobility during combat.
Maya Cordelia will initially be available as a limited-time character package from August 4 through September 1, 2026. Players who miss the package release will have another opportunity to recruit her using Gems between August 18 and September 15, 2026.
To celebrate her arrival, Gremory Games will launch an Achievement Event and a Weapon Pickup Gacha. Completing event objectives will reward players with items including Red Present Box, Doki Doki Present, Gacha Coin, Gold, and additional in-game resources.

LR rarity, cooperative gameplay, and August events expand progression
Another major addition is the introduction of the LR rarity tier, becoming the highest rarity available for weapons and supporters. Existing UR equipment can now be evolved and upgraded into LR, providing experienced players with a deeper long-term progression path. New achievements focused on weapon and supporter enhancement will also accompany the feature.
The update further strengthens multiplayer content through the new Club Joint Training mode. Club members will cooperate against a shared enemy, with rankings determined by the combined performance of every participant. A mercenary system will allow players to borrow characters developed by fellow club members, while seasonal rewards will be distributed based on both club rankings and individual contributions.
Solo players will also have fresh challenges, as the Arena Tower expands to 150 floors. The additional stages introduce tougher enemies and greater strategic demands for players seeking high-level combat.

Throughout August, players can participate in two separate Login Events, earning rewards such as Enhancement Stone (Ultimate), Orb/Element Kit (UR), Onsen Ticket, Platinum Gacha Ticket, Strategic Manual (Ultimate), Phantasmal Dye, and Crystal (Mirage).
The Summer Gacha Event: Make It Double! will also return with double the UR drop rate compared to standard Premium Gachas. Depending on the number of pulls, players can receive bonus rewards, including the Voucher: Summer Vacation Special!, Talisman of Mastery, and Opaque Special Dye Ample.
Additional cosmetic content arrives with the Goddess of Justice Package, featuring Azusa’s exclusive costume, weapon, supporter, and Gems. Meanwhile, August’s Golden Pass introduces Phantasma’s “One Day Job Phantasma” costume as a Special Pass reward. New “One Day Job” attire for Noah and permanent Summer Holidays costumes for Rin, Cara Cromwell, and Azuma will also become available.
Finally, players can experience the new event story, “She from the Star,” which rewards weapons for Saika, Shisui, and Spinel upon completion.
