The little boy (definitely not cross-dressing) has also shown that he has skills beyond measure. This shows that the new character has the potential to be part of the cult, but there are still some issues.
It was clear to the MC that the little kid was lying and had a hidden agenda. An agenda that might cost MC his life if he is not careful with the kid and his past. But while this was going on, MC heard people approach from some distance and told the kid to hurry up.
The kid was surprised that the MC could perceive the noise from far ahead and even act on it. MC didn’t comment on it, but he did make a note of the little kid being on the same pace as him. However, their getaway wasn’t useful, as they had to fight the men coming after them regardless. However, MC was surprised to see who the attacker was.

Absolute Sword Sense Chapter 53 will see the action series go into a slice-of-life chapter after the last chapter’s chase. This manhwa has been taking things slowly and introducing one thing at a time while maintaining a good pace in the series. This is a good sign as to what one can expect from a series and intrigue on top of it.
The manhwas tend to have the same route for their characters. A character that comes out strong becomes even stronger with a cult following that reveres him. And all the enemies that come in his way are turned to dust as soon as they meet the MC.
That is to say, there are no major villains in the manhwa. All of them are there as stepping stones. But it seems this manhwa isn’t taking that approach.
