Screenwriter Jukki Hanada, alongside music video production group Hurray! and 100Studio, revealed a new original anime film titled A Few Moments of Cheers (Sūfunkan no Yell o) on Wednesday. The film is set to premiere in Japan in early summer.
The narrative unfolds as a high schooler creating music videos encounters a teacher who has abandoned music. Asaya Kanata, an amateur music video creator, spots Yu Orie, a teacher and musician, performing on the street. This prompts Kanata to embark on creating a music video featuring her music.
Jukki Hanada is crafting the narrative and script for the film. Hanada, an experienced anime screenwriter, has contributed to numerous anime productions centered around musicians.
His notable works include Kyoto Animation’s Sound! Euphonium, the original Love Live! series, along with Love Live! Sunshine!! and Love Live! Superstar!!, as well as the upcoming Girls Band Cry.

The anime is a collaborative effort between the music video creator trio Hurray! and 100Studio. Hurray!, renowned for crafting music videos for the yorushika band, leads the production, with POPREQ directing the film.
Ohajiki serves as the assistant director, and Magotsuki takes on the role of character designer. Complementing the visuals, Vivi, a notable music producer in the Vocaloid scene, is in charge of composing the songs featured in the film.
Bandai Namco Filmworks is responsible for distributing the film.
