All About “A Cozy Christmas Inn”:
In this film, Jodie Sweetin plays Erika: a successful real estate executive in the city. Her boss Sharon (played by Vivica A. Fox), assigns her an important mission–to fly to Alaska and convince the Garland Inn’s owner to sell it to her company. The only catch in Sharon’s plan is that Erika’s ex-boyfriend not just lives in Garland, but he owns the Garland Inn.
This offer comes at the perfect time for Andy (David O’Donnell); Garland’s tourism industry is struggling, and the inn can barely attract one couple at a time. If that wasn’t enough pressure, Andy’s dad Frank (Brian Doyle-Murray), also wants him to hurry up and sell so he can join the family shipping business.
Will Andy give in and sell the inn? Will cosmopolitan Erika fall for the appeal of Garland’s rustic allure? The question on everyone’s mind is whether or not Erika and Andy will pick up where they left off years ago.

A Cozy Christmas Inn Filming Locations:
The recently released holiday movie, A Cozy Christmas Inn, was filmed entirely in the town of Huntsville in Utah. Photography for the film started in December 2021 and ended before that month was over. The filmmakers used the real-life landscapes of Utah as a stand-in for the fictional town of Garland in Alaska.
Most of the key scenes in A Cozy Christmas Inn were shot in Huntsville, a small city located in Weber County. The bed-and-breakfast featured in the movie is, in truth, Compass Rose Lodge. Using the Lodge and its surroundings as a backdrop, most of the filming took place here. The Lodge is located at 198 South 7400 East in Huntsville.
Compass Rose Lodge contains fifteen king and queen bedrooms, which display a modern architectural style that is one-of-a-kind. In addition to the Huntsville Astronomic & Lunar Observatory, or HALO, the Lodge also has large hall rooms available for functions such as parties, weddings, and corporate events. The Lodge is also nearby several outdoor recreation activities, such as skiing, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, and golfing.
To take advantage of Utah’s gorgeous scenery, the production team and cast members also filmed in several locations near the set. Huntsville, founded in 1860, is a town located in Ogden Valley. The area’s blistering cold and continuous snowfall made it the perfect stand-in for Garland.
