Coming into this chapter, we saw Megumi finally reunite with Tsumiki, which was one of his biggest storylines throughout the series aside from Zenin stuff. At first, it was waking Tsumiki up from the coma that she had fallen in, but after she woke up she was forcefully put into the Culling Game, so then his big goal was to get her out of it, and now he finally reached it.
He got enough points and was able to make a rule with the Kogane to have Tsumiki swap out from the Culling Game with Ichiji, at the cost of 100 points. However, after Megumi gives 100 points to Tsumiki, to exchange with Ichiji, she suddenly decides to add a rule to the game, which gives everyone the ability to enter or exit the Cross Colony Borders, and after she does, she says better to choose your battleground, right? and Megumi’s confused, he is like, who are you?, and she is like, who am I!! I am your big sister!!
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 212 Recap
This is like the huge twist here, and it turns out that Tsumiki is NOT Tsumiki, but she is actually a reincarnated sorcerer, so far. For the longest time, we thought that Kanjaku, altered her brain to give her a curse technique because before the Culling Game had started, the player kind of broke it down into like categories; there like the players who were reincarnated sorcerers, the players who were regular humans and then had their brains altered, so they could have curse techniques and then there is just like the standard players that willingly entered the game.
The audience was told that Tsumiki was given a curse technique, even in this chapter, Megumi’s like, why did I assume that Tsumiki was the Awakened Type, so this was just misinformation, cleverly handled by Gege here, and Yeah! it turns out that Tsumiki was supposed to be a vessel for a sorcerer to reincarnate this whole time, and it makes you wonder, if she is similar to Yuuji, in the fact that; Kenjaki gave birth to her.
If you connect all the dots, it’s very much like that Kenjaku is the woman, that wound up marrying Toji, but anyway, the reincarnated sorcerer that Tsumiki has become is Yorozu, and she says that she hasn’t fought for 1000 years, and she wants to choose who and where to fight, and she chooses Sukuna and then flys away with the wings, which I guess are her like curse technique.
When Angel and Yuuji are about to go after her, suddenly one of the biggest moments of the series happens!! Just out of the blue, it’s Sukuna finally saying “ENCHAIN”. We know that this is like the big vow that was set up between Sukuna and Yuuji, way back in the beginning of the series, like even the anime only are patiently waiting for this moment, and we, the manga hardcore, are just getting it now.
After this happens, Sukuna catches us up to speed on what the Binding Vows was and he says I have two conditions, you agree to let me take over your body for one full minute when I chant”Enchain” and you will forget about this agreement, and that is pretty much long and short of to, there is also another stipulation, where he says he won’t kill or hurt anybody, but obviously we are gonna see him circumvent that because he immediately blitz Angel and like does something to her, that makes her go unconscious.
He is not hurting her or anything like this, because it would go against the Binding Vows, but he like, I don’t know doing some secret Jujutsu move and she is passing out. This is important, because Angel’s curse technique, like her ability to extinguish curse techniques, can shut down the reincarnated sorcerers.
Then Sukuna says, from here on is a gamble, and his pinky finger gets all curse. He rips it out off, and after this Megumi immediately tries to summon Maharaga. However, he is instantly speed blitzed by Sukuna, who is just physically disarming him, non-violently still within the parameters of the Binding Vows.
He then opens his mouth and then throws his pinky into Megumi’s mouth, then like possess him; this is one of the biggest twists in the series, on top of one of the biggest twists that we already got, and then we cut back to Yuuji, and he is not possessed anymore, he doesn’t have any marking or anything, he is just Yuji again, but now Megumi has Sukuna, and that is where the chapter ends, and that raises just so many questions, so let’s try to break it down.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 Predictions
First of all, we have known for the longest time that Sukuna was really interested in Megumi, but now we see that this is what he wanted the whole time, he wanted to take over Megumi at this key moment, and it’s also interesting that Sukuna decided to chant enchain after Tsumiki or Yorozu revealed themselves, and flew away. So, obviously, he knew that that was going to happen and that is not too far-fetched because all of this has been premeditated and set off for like literally a thousand years by Kanjaku, so they were all privy to the information.
As for Sukuna transferring himself to Megumi, it seems like he transferred all of his essence or his life or his Jujutsuness, his curse energy, and his consciousness into Yuuji’s pinky, and then ripped it off, and then I guess that allowed him to transfer himself to Megumi like a USB stick or something.
Normally, Megumi wouldn’t be able to be taken over by this, right? Because even in the first chapter, when Yuuji eats Sukuna’s finger, Megumi says that, that’s a special grade cursed object, that is a lethal poison, and e will die for sure, but there is a chance, a one in a million, and of course you know, it was not really one in a million because it was premeditated that Yuuji would eat it, but Megumi to eat it, it would have been one in a million for him to survive for sure, or at least it’s implied as such.
Since Sukuna is making a fresh pinky here, maybe it’s not the same as his curse object fingers stored in his grave wax, maybe this is like the Shishimi version of that, so it circumvents any kind of complications and it instantly makes Megumi the host, I guess because he is also strong enough, it’s not like he is just doing it to a normal human.
I think I'm not exaggerating by saying that chapter 212 of Jujutsu Kaisen is at least as groundbreaking for the series' overall narrative as Gojo's sealing in chapter 90 was.

Now another interesting thing about Sukuna taking over Megumi is now he also now has access to Megumi’s points because in the previous chapter Kurusu, transferred his points to Megumi and Megumi wound up having, I don’t know, 359-something like that, and then, of course, he transferred 100 to Tsumiki, so that she could get out of the Culling Game, but she just had to make a new rule.
So now, he should have like 259 or something like that so, in theory, Sukuna can make two new rules right now, which I am pretty sure is why he decided to change at this point because he knew it was going to happen, he knew that he would have a certain amount of points that he was going to give Tsumiki.
