In the previous chapter, magazine journalist Nihei Shuusaku took Yoichi’s interview and asked him how he felt about being awarded the man of the match, getting an offer of 50 million yen, and being considered the eye of the storm in the new generation of footballers. Youichi tells him that he is thrilled about his recent achievements and gives all the credit to Blue Lock for allowing an average high schooler like him to showcase his skills to the world.
He also addresses that his entire life has changed after joining Blue Lock. Nihei reads a comment from the scout about how they want to pair Yoichi with Noa because Yoichi is versatile in both offense and defense and asks him what he would like to say about that.
