In the Dark is a crime drama television show which was created by Corinne Kingsbury. The show is focused on a blind woman who is unclear in her life. One time, while she is out for a walk with her guide dog, the woman trips upon a corpse which she is certain of is one of her only two friends, just near her apartment. Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Bob Gunton, Ayelet Zurer, Jon Bernthal, Élodie Yung, Stephen Rider, Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali and Wilson Bethe donned the roles of supporting characters in the TV series.

Created by Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda, American Vandal premiered on 15th September 2017 on the streaming giant Netflix. The series is a mockumentary and is a parody of true crime documentaries like Serial and Making a Murderer. American Vandal was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and even won a Peabody Award. The show was well-appreciated by critics and viewers alike.
There are two seasons of American Vandal, each season having eight episodes in total. The 16-episode series ran until 14th September 2018, and on 26th October 2018, the series was canceled by Netflix. But fans of the show have been delighted as the producers announced to release of the next seasons on other streaming platforms.

Delhi Crime was created by Richie Mehta and premiered on Netflix on 22nd March 2019. The series has released two seasons so far. The first season was centered around the 2012 Delhi Gang Rape Case that shook India’s head. The series follows DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) Vartika Chaturvedi, who is given the task of finding out the culprits and arresting them for the crime they committed.
The second season revolved around the chase to catch members of the infamous ‘Chaddi Baniyan Gang’, a gang terrorizing the northern parts of India.
Delhi Crime received the award for Outstanding Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards held in 2020 and became the first ever Indian series to do so. The series has been well-praised by critics as it was just too good.

Created by Simone Finch and premiered on 20th January 2022. The series is a comedy show as it follows a young, alcoholic woman who moves back with her bossy mom, hoping to avoid prison. The woman gets on with her life as she is confronted with the remaining parts of her old life.
Single Drunk Female starred Sofia Black-D’Elia as the ‘single drunk female’ Samantha. Sasha Compère, Lily Mae Harrington, Garrick Bernard, and Ally Sheedy were cast as other major characters. Jon Glaser, Madison Shepard, Jojo Brown, Ian Gomez, Charlie Hall, Madeline Wise, and Tom Simmons were in the supporting roles, along with several others.

Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi
Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi was created by Ayesha Sood and is a true crime docuseries that premiered on 20th July 2022 on the popular streaming platform- Netflix.
The series is based on a police investigation focusing on catching and arresting Chandrakant Jha, a serial killer. Chandrakant Jha murdered three people during 2006-2007 and left the victims’ bodies decapitated outside the Tihar Jail, one of India’s most significant jails. Jha had also left various notes with the victims’ bodies which were mocking the police and challenging them to catch him.
The series received decent feedback from critics, as the mystery of the show was a rather very interesting one. Altaf Hussain starred as Chandrakant Jha, the serial killer. Jitendra Sharma played the role of a young Jha, whereas Mukesh Pandy voiced Chandrakant Jha. Manjit Singh, Sanjay Bansal, Bunny Adhikari, Meenu, Ankit Sharma, and several others donned the roles of the supporting characters. Surinder Singh Yadav and S.L. Vaya were the members of the investigating team that was interviewed to prepare the series. The series has three episodes and is available to watch on Netflix.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan
Created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is based on characters from the “Ryanverse”, a universe created by Tom Clancy. The show premiered on 31st August 2018 on Amazon Prime Video and is a political action thriller.
John Krasinski starred as the titular Jack Ryan, whereas Wendell Pierce, Abbie Cornish. Ali Suliman, Dina Shihabi, John Hoogenakker, Noomi Rapace, Jordi Molla, Francisco Denis, Cristina Umana, Jovan Adepo, Michael Kelly, Michael Pena, and Benito Martinez are members of the supporting cast.
John Krasinski became the fifth actor to play the role of Jack Ryan after Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine. This series portrays Ryan as an up-and-coming CIA analyst who gets forcefully placed into a field operation.

House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths
House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths is a docuseries created by Leena Yadav which depicts the mysterious deaths of 11 members of a family on 30th June 2018. The show tells the story of the members who died due to unknown reasons and also the real behavior of the same members prior to their demise.
The docuseries will be released on Netflix on 8th October 2021 and depicts the events of 30th June 2018, the famous ‘black day’ that saw the deaths of members of the Chundawat family. Various real-world professionals such as Anita Anand (clinical hypnotherapist), Manoj Kumar (SHO), Naresh Bhatia (sub-inspector), Brajesh Kumar (SSA Biology, Forensic Science Laboratory, New Delhi), and Mukesh Sengar (senior special correspondent-NDTV) were seen as the interviewees in the show. The series has three episodes and is available to watch on Netflix.
