When two ridiculously gorgeous ladies tell you that they want you to be theirs and do not mind sharing you with each other, it is all fun and games until they sink their fangs into both your carotid arteries on either side of your neck and suck you dry. Reginald The Vampire Season 1 Episode 5 is what this article is about.
Unfortunately, innocent and charming Reginald was a victim of such a paradigm-shifting event, which is something not all of us can vouch for, in Syfy’s original comedy-drama series, Reginald the Vampire, which took off for its debut season on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.
The pilot episode of the show is officially titled “Dead Weight,” and so far, four episodes from its first season have already aired. Episode 4 had come out only the week before and was set in 1972 in Oakland, California, where Angela and Maurice had first met. To say the least, it was a cosmic event that changed everything.
The episode finally explained why Maurice was so upset with Reggie, whom he had warned that bad things were bound to happen if he continued his relationship with Sarah. Reginald going ahead and blowing his secret power of being able to glamour other vampires was not so thrilling to him either.

Maurice was all for the Reggie and Sarah ship in the premiere episode of Reginald the Vampire Season 1, but by the events of the fourth episode, everything was different. Notwithstanding, we got to see exactly why he felt the way that he did, and to no one’s surprise, it involved his history with Angela.
Episode 4 from Season 1 of Reginald the Vampire is officially titled “All the Time in the World,” and it aired on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Reginald The Vampire Season 1 Episode 5 Preview
The episode which is due to come out this week would be the second from the debut season of Reginald the Vampire, and in it, we will see Reginald finally adjusting to his new reality, that of being a vampire and possessing special powers.
Furthermore, Reggie literally turns Todd into an all-you-can-eat-blood-buffet using his glamouring powers and goes on to ask Sarah out on a second date. The official title of the fifth episode from Reginald the Vampire Season 1 is “Fools in Love.”
Reginald The Vampire Plot
The plot of this original comedy show features the title character Reginald, and his life which seems to be singularly about dreams denied until that one night when he chanced upon a stranger, Maurice, unaware that he would change his life.
Ironically, this change would take place by Reginald dying first, as he gets killed by Maurice’s seductive enemies. Prior to that, the latter had sold to the former when his guard was down that he would help him materialize his dreams into reality, and so Maurice naturally felt accountable for Reggie’s death.
As such, he decided that the sole way to keep him alive would be to make him a vampire, and so begins the story of Reginald the Vampire in which we see his new life unravel in front of him.

Reginald must learn to adjust to his new reality as a vampire and everything that comes with it, especially his food habit, the classic vampire’s hunger for human blood. Gradually, he learns that he has some special powers, which poses yet another challenge when it comes to mastering and hiding it.
If that is not enough, there are some powerful people high up in the vampire world who very much wish for his death or at least some harm to come his way. Reginald must battle these hurdles to survive, including his blockhead boss, all while trying to land the girl he had fallen for.
But most importantly, through all of these unique experiences, Reggie realizes that while he “sucked at being a human”, pun intended, he was a far better man as a bloodsucking parasite.
Reginald The Vampire Cast
Spiderman fame Jacob Batalon leads the cast of the first season of Reginald the Vampire as the titular character Reginald, while Mandela Van Peebles plays the charismatic Maurice, Em Haine plays the role of Sarah, the girl Reggie has been pining for way too long, and finally, Savannah Basley is Angela, Maurice’s vindictive former girlfriend.
Basley had recently stated that her character was highly intelligent and excelled in the art of manipulation. Although Angela is almost a hundred years old, she was fiercely loyal to Maurice throughout this long time, and Savannah indicated that the same might land her in a bind someday.
On the other hand, Em Haine gave us an insight into her character Sarah saying that she had a troubling past that would surface sometime or other. But this would be made up for by the promise of a karaoke montage!
For the first season of Reginald the Vampire, Jeremiah Chechik serves as both the producer as well as the director. Additionally, Harley Peyton is the showrunner for the same.

As mentioned, Reginald The Vampire Season 1 Episode 5 premiered on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, on Syfy at 10/9C and 10 PM ET, and new episodes come on Wednesdays every week. Reginald the Vampire Season 1 Episode 5 will release on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

In the United States, apart from the broadcast on Syfy, the debut season of Reginald the Vampire is currently streaming on DIRECTV and fuboTV. However, fans may also watch it in their own time through on-demand services like Spectrum On Demand.
In Canada, the show is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video, just as it is in Australia. No other live TV services run the show in either of the countries.
