Nathaniel is believed to have learned many football-playing skills from him. Lately, the general manager of the Denver Broncos, George Paton, opened up about Nathaniel Hackett’s job security.

What Happened Between Nathaniel Hackett And Denver Broncos?
On 30 October 2022, there was a match held between Denver Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars. Even though the former won by a final score of 21-17, it was very ugly, and thus, the team was not appreciated. It seems like this win saved Nathaniel Hackett from getting fired. But, people started questioning how long he had been saved. It was reported to be until at least the end of the 2022 season. But why?
Well, the reason behind keeping Nathaniel Hackett as the head coach for Denver Broncos appeared to be similar, just like how the newly signed players being inactive continue to work. Also, if he was replaced by an interim coach, the latter would not get much time in the middle of the season to deal with, train, and direct the team.
What did Nathaniel say about the Denver Broncos general manager? He opened up about George, an amazing partner. The head coach added, saying that he was growing along with his partner, George Paton. On this note, he said, “It’s great to work with him. He has been great and supportive throughout this whole thing.”
Well, before the match against Jacksonville Jaguars was held, several rumors of the head coach would be getting fired from the team circulated on the internet. That was supposed to happen, especially if Denver Broncos lost the match. That didn’t happen.
Did Nathaniel know about it? Yes. The pressure was high. Concerning this, he said, “Anything you want, you want to always try to give yourself a chance to get to the playoffs.” In addition to this, he said that his team was behind the eight ball right then, with a record of 2-5.
So, fighting was needed. When asked, Nathaniel shared that he was not ready to give up play-calling duties at that time. On the other hand, the head coach of The Denver Nuggets, George Karl, took it to his Twitter account. He claimed that Nathaniel was not capable.
I always support coaches and would rarely advocate for their firing.
But Hackett needs to be done in Denver with the Broncos.

But firing Nathaniel Hackett even after winning the match didn’t appear to be a good decision. So, he got himself saved from losing his job. But George Paton believed in him and knew his capability as he was then there for seven games. Also, he loved the way how Nathaniel kept the team together and appreciated the same.
