The crew barely manages to destroy Drednok and regain all the power possible for them. Finally, The Diviner comes forward to reveal his origin. He tells Gwyn that he has been sent from the future as an envoy to make sure that the destruction does not happen for his people. It is because the first contact with the Starfleet was what caused a Civil War. While he is on the Prostar, The Diviner is planning to destroy the entire Starfleet with the help of a computer virus.
Then we see that Zero finally comes forward in his true form in front of the Diviner, which drives him crazy. At the same time, Gwyn sees a reflection of Zero in the mirror and totally forgets about the plan that Diviner had told her. He is now left in exile on Tars Lamora. As for the miner, they leave on his ship. The entire crew of Protostar is now flying toward the Federation space.
