After a long hiatus, Stargirl is finally back with Season 3 Episode 7. Fans of the show have been eagerly waiting to see what happens next in the story of Courtney Whitmore and her stepfather Pat Dugan.
Geoff Johns created the American superhero television series DC’s Stargirl, formerly known as just Stargirl. The show premiered on the streaming service DC Universe. The show is about the DC Comics superhero Courtney Whitmore, and it was created by Johns and Lee Moder. High school student Courtney Whitmore is the focus of the series. After she finds a cosmic staff, she’s inspired to become a superhero and help lead the new generation of the Justice Society of America.
The first season of the series was filmed in March 2019 in and around Atlanta, Georgia. The first season of Stargirl began airing on DC Universe on May 18, 2020; the season has 13 episodes in total. The show also aired the following day on the broadcast network The CW.
The Premise Of The Web Series “Stargirl”:
A decade after the vast majority of members from the Justice Society of America were killed in combat against the Injustice Society of America, Courtney Whitmore–a high school student who recently moved to Blue Valley–finds Starman’s Cosmic Staff. She soon learns that her stepfather, Pat Dugan, used to be his sidekick. Courtney encounters the remnants of the ISA, which now include the mysterious Dragon King and his daughter Cindy Burman. She becomes inspired to recruit Yolanda Montez, Rick Tyler, and Beth Chapel as the new generation of superheroes.
In season two of Stargirl, our heroes must face Shade, a former ISA member, and the evil entity known as Eclipso. Cindy teams up with Eclipso to create a new group called Injustice Unlimited. After Eclipso breaks free from Cindy’s control, the JSA works to stop him with help from Jennie-Lynn Scott, Jakeem Williams, Thunderbolt, Charles McNider (who they rescue), a revived Starman, and ex-ISA members Solomon Grundy, Sportsmaster and Tigress.
In the third season, tension boils over as the residents of Blue Valley find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation when Steven Sharpe, an ex-ISA member, is killed.
