Even though Tom DeLonge left Blink 182 in 2015, it was not the first time it took a break. This split occurred in 2005 as well, restarting in 2009.
In 2015, Tom DeLonge got replaced by Matt Skiba. With Matt, Blink 182 released a couple of studio albums- California and NINE, which did great jobs. Despite doing wonders as the team as a whole, people still missed Tom and wanted him back. As mentioned earlier, the suspension of the feud with other group members turned out to be very wrong. The trio shares a great bond. They are not just colleagues or friends but appear more like family.
When asked about the reason behind his sudden exit, Tom DeLonge shared that he made a move to change the world for his children and also everyone else. He also mentioned that was the time when he was able to look back at his journey with the group as an old man.
During his break from Blink 182, Tom co-founded the organization named To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science. Little did you know, the singer believes in UFOs. What’s your thought on this? It focuses on reaching the transformative discoveries around us that we all are fascinated by.
