Roger Earl Mosley, better known as Roger E. Mosley, was an American-based actor and director. Mosley is renowned for starring as Theodore T.C. Calvin in the crime television series called Magnum, P.I. The series aired from 1980 to 1988 on the television network called CBS. 7th of August, Sunday, brought the heavy news of Roger E. Mosley’s death. The unexpected tragedy occurred due to a car accident that took place three days before his death. Reports suggest that his death is caused by the injuries resulting from the accident. Mosley’s death was announced by his daughter on Facebook. She informed on the Facebook post that Mosley was paralyzed and his health was deteriorating.
She added that we should not mourn his death but celebrate what he provided us. In her own words, “We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all.” She added a message to her father, “I love you, daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy, but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well, and she is in good hands. Rest easy.”
Tweets poured in from Mosley’s colleagues after the news. His friend and colleague Richard Brooks expressed his grief on Twitter, “We’ve lost another great actor & legend today. I enjoyed working with Roger so much. He really came thru for me when I produced my first play. He was the best. Condolences to the Mosley family.” Another friend Tina Andrews tweeted, “What a sweet man, and a fine actor who gave great parties. RIP, Roger. You were loved and shall be missed.”
Mosley’s daughter confirmed that her father passed away “peacefully” while being surrounded by his family members. He will always be remembered as a brilliant actor and for his beautiful crafts.
