A Salesman arrives at the hideout claiming that he was sent by Kuon. He told Haku that deals in anything except for humans and has brought a healing medicine for the princess. While leaving, Nekone and others give him a list of items they require. Anju is awake thanks to the healing medicine and asks to meet Haku. Oshtor/Haku tells him that he died while protecting her. Oshtor also advises Anju to consider giving up on becoming the next Mikado as there is already an imposter resembling her at the throne.
Meanwhile, Nekone and Haku visit Nekone’s mother and have a family union. Mikazuchi arrives with the Yamato’s armies and also tells the princess to live here peacefully for the rest of her life because her wanting to become the Mikado will result in an unnecessary war. To seal this deal, Mikazuchi challenges Oshtor and after exchanging one blow with him, he realizes that it is not Oshtor.

Haku and Mikazuchi are both kind and sensible men looking out for their kingdom. They realize that must exchange blows and put an example so Anju will give up on becoming the next Mikado which will result in a war.
