The application is undoubtedly free but it is likely to add a paid version, as discussed earlier. Nothing is confirmed yet, but still, it can be assumed to be named Snapchat+.
Till now, everything on the platform is free and the features include- Snap Camera, Snap Map, and many more. Like most other social media platforms, Snapchat doesn’t have a separate feed open to the users where they can see their friends’ posts. Here, we have to open the DMS and share snaps and texts with your friends, to maintain the snap streaks.
Last year, it has been reported that the application garnered more than $3.1 billion in terms of income. At present, it is looking forward to increasing its revenue through a new subscription-based way. Interestingly, an engineer Alessandro Paluzzi has shared what the paid version of Snapchat would look like on his Twitter account.

Knowing this, you must be wondering why would an user pay money for a platform which is already available for free. Right? Well, if you pay for it, you will be getting access to several pre-released features which must be very much exclusive, including the stickers and effects. Talking more about it, Snapchat+ is likely to charge £4.59 for a month. There will also be options for six-month and yearly subscriptions, which would charge £24.99 and £44.99, respectively.
Now, it’s completely your decision whether to pay for it or use it for free. There is nothing mandatory!
