Dandadan Chapter 62 is set to release next week. Manga such as Dandadan has grown in popularity very rapidly in recent years. Dandadan is an ongoing series that focuses on supernatural genre characters. Additionally, it has a lot of action scenes that are intense while also having good characters. Yukinobu Tatsu wrote and illustrated Dandadan. This manga was released in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump on April 16, 2021.
Dandadan initially drew attention due to the romance between Okarun and Momo Ayase, one of Okarun’s closest friends. That dynamic is currently expanding with the addition of new characters, particularly Jiji. Given this, Jiji was created to complement the series’ romantic moments. Okarun’s relationship with Momo appears contradictory at first; he is her ex-boyfriend. That relationship, on the other hand, quickly blossomed into another highlight of an already impressive series. Dandadan Chapter 61 became very popular among fans, and fans eagerly waited for the next chapter.

In Dandadan’s latest chapter, Jiji’s friends and ally realize that they can fix the problem by exorcising Jiji’s Evil Eye. But just before they can do so, Okarun arrives from training and subdues the yokai. Although he fails and no longer fights, Okarun tricks the Evil Eye into believing he’s stronger than him and refuses to fight further until the Yokai grows more powerful. Okarun agrees to fight the Evil Eye once a week in exchange for the safety of humanity and the promise not to harm his friends.
As amazing as this is, the situation could have been solved by exorcising the Evil Eye, but because Okarun cares for Jiji, he is willing to rise above their romantic rivalry and do whatever it takes to get her back. Even worse, the Evil Eye has proven much stronger than Okarun. Okarun gave everything he had to subdue the yokai, but despite many of his attacks landing, they only fanned the flames of the Evil Eye.
Having been granted Okarun’s wishes, he has not only doomed himself to continuously fight an enemy that is already capable of killing him, but he has now encouraged this same enemy to develop even more powerful skills than he already has, making his predicament even more hopeless. Moreover, he already underwent training during Dandadan’s attempt at fixing the training arcs, making the situation even more hopeless.
In a sense, Okarun’s hell was influenced by his desire to protect Momo. When the Evil Eye broke out of Jiji’s control, the yokai almost killed Momo, and Okarun was devastated by the fact that he could not save her. Up until now, mangaka Yukinobu Tatsu teasingly restricted the romance between Momo and Okarun in Dandadan to cute scenes of blushing and undisclosed signs of affection that might not be anything more than a strong friendship.
However, Yukinobu Tatsu has now changed this by revealing evidence of Momo and Okarun’s romance. Okayarun now shows his love for Momo by advocating that she be kept safe by sacrificing himself for her. The fact that Okarun is also motivated by his friendship and respect for Jiji only makes the already complex dynamic even more compelling. Dandadan has proven to be one of the most promising shonen series of recent times.

Momo sends Ken to a place where she may get kidnapped by aliens, while Ken sends Momo to a place where he might encounter a ghost.
