The K-Pop music scene is swarming with new artists and groups every month. A lot of groups are really good but highly underrated. One of the groups we’d be discussing today is one of them. It’s called “Like a Movie”. The Like a Movie members debuted in 2018 with the song Twilight. The group consists of 5 members, whom we’d talk about in detail here.
Like a Movie is under the company Top Cloud Entertainment. Their official fandom name is POPCORN. That’s such a nice reference for cinema, on which their group name is based too. The group debuted in 2018 but, unfortunately, doesn’t have a lot of content out yet. The ones who have been supporting the group since pre-debut days vouch for the Like a Movie members and their music.
Like A Movie Members:
Domo
Domo was born on 13 March 1992 as Ahn Do-mo. He is a talented individual who created the choreography for the group’s debut song, Twilight. Domo is the leader of the boy group. Along with 3 other members, he previously used to be under My Star Media. He also participated in the BigHit audition. He has said his hobbies include eating chicken and gaming. Memorizing maps is another specialty. He seems to have a good sense of direction then. Some of his favorite artists include Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth. He wishes to be recognized for his music, just like his favorite artists. For him, his members are loved ones for him. Lastly, his motto of life is,” “Do your best for everything you’re given.”.
Siryu
Siryu was born on 14 May 1994. His given birth name is Lee Woong. He is the lead vocalist of the group. He, along with Woohyuk, Domo, and Mingyu, used to be under My Star Media and in group N2. Some of his hobbies include walking and playing with dogs. He believes one of his specialties is acting. For a reason unknown, he has good English speaking skills. Siryu also believes his smile, monolidded eyes, and long legs are his charming points. He has further proclaimed BTS and Bumpy as his favorite artists. He hopes that the world gives a lot of love to his group and Like a Movie members. For him, his members mean like a family to him, sharing everything with each other. His motto in life is to be someone who is needed anywhere he goes.
Woohyuk
Choi Woohyuk was born on 9 November 1995. He is the vocalist and lead dancer of the group. He was also under My Star Media like the other 3 members. Woohyuk is also a former Woolim Entertainment trainee. According to him, his charming points are his eye smile and thick eyebrows. Well, we can’t help but agree with him. He is not eating. Like many others, BTS are his favorite artists. His goal, too, involves Like a Movie members to be loved by people all over the world. For him, the members and the group are the reason for his existence. He has claimed that if he had a superpower, it’d be teleportation. His motto for life is “Always think that we’re lacking”.
Mingyu
Born on 28 March 1996, Mangy is the main vocalist and lead dancer of the group. Mingyu, along with Woohyuk, Siryu, and Domo, used to be under My Star Media and in group N2. He’s also a former trainee from MBK Entertainment. Funnily enough, his hobbies include spacing out but also cleaning. For him, his charming points are the mole on his nose and his 4D personality. He happens to like everything related to strawberries. His favorite artists include Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, BIG BANG, and Ovan. For him, the group means his goal in life. Well, he is acing at that, no doubt. His motto for life is, “Tomorrow is another day”.
Joha
Joha was born on 22 August 1998. Given name is Kim Ji-hyeok. He is the maknae of the group. Joha’s hobbies include listening to music, gaming, and teasing his members. The true personality trait of a maknae. His specialties include B-Boying, swimming, and acrobatics. He believes his mono-lidded eyes and smile are his charms. Among his favorite artists are Buzz and Noel. His goal is to live happily. It also happens to be his motto.
Howoo
Howoo is a former member of the group. Nonetheless, still a member. His given name is Kim Seonghun. He was a rapper in the group. He was involved in the composition of their debut song Twilight. Composing and songwriting are his specialties. His eye smile and his body structure are his charming points. His favorite artists include Korean hip-hop artists Dok2, SIk-K, Nucksal, Microdot, and Loopy. Unfortunately, due to an injury, Howoo left Like a Movie and was made to be a part of another group CHAZE. However, he left CHAZE too. Further, he was part of 2 groups called ONE A DAY and DUSTIN.
