In addition to this, the unique promotions and marketing by the company are just as hard to miss! One such unforgettable project is the Mcdonald’s Famous Orders initiative.
Under this program, the restaurant partners with famous persons across the world to curate a themed meal for all its fans to enjoy. This time last year, we witnessed Mcdonald’s BTS fanboy era as they kickstarted the limited edition BTS meal. The response was so overwhelming that they wanted to experience it again!

All platforms of social media were almost painted purple in May 2021. There was only one reason for this, and it was the legendary BTS meal provided by McDonald’s. The Meal was designed in the most aesthetic manner and comprised of Fries, Cola, and the infamous McNuggets. However, the differentiator was the dipping sauces that accompanied these McDonald’s regulars. The boys handpicked the sauces themselves by testing their palette, and it is fair to say we were not disappointed!

The announcement was enough to pump an additional dose of adrenaline into ARMYs who stopped at nothing to buy the BTS Meal. Stores across the world witnessed a surge in sales like never before. Never-ending lines and utter chaos in all McDonald’s outlets became quite the scene. It increased to such an extent that some competing restaurants completely shut down their business! News and other media definitely had a field day due to this venture!
The Meal came packaged not with love but with a purple box that stamped the BTS logo. It was worth all the love and more for BTS fans who started collecting the boxes like merch. Who are we kidding? We also still have our covers stashed away safely inside our cupboards! Moreover, even vegetarian fans who did not consume meat took to purchasing the Meal just for its aesthetic.
