Iconic artist Dolly Parton will soon be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this year! Dolly Parton admitted that while she had her reservations about accepting the honor, she feels great about it now. She further added how she feels honored that all the people that voted for her and also appreciated the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame people for staying there with her.
The songstress earlier explained how she has a lot of rock ‘n’ roll friends and people that are to the point of being bitter about the fact that they are not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, nor have they been nominated. The Grammy-winning singer admitted to taking into consideration the feelings of her rock music peers. There were quite a few who have yet to be recognized by the Hall when she initially thought about her nomination.

Dolly Parton earlier shocked everyone after she asked her name to be withdrawn from the Hall of Fame 2022 ballot. The singer took to social media to express her feelings while saying that she didn’t feel she earned the right. The artist later explained that she was trying to be nice and good about not trying to take something away from somebody that had truly earned it. Here’s what Dolly Parton wrote about the big news. The Jolene hitmaker was part of a nominee class that included several A-listed artists like Duran Duran, Eminem, Beck, A Tribe Called Quest, and Lionel Richie. The singer is a bit uncertain whether she will attend her induction ceremony that is set for November in Los Angeles.
The songstress, however, teased that if she attended, she was going to sing the hardest style of rock ‘n roll song that she could ever muster up just to show that she could do it. Parton has earlier admitted that she always wanted to do a great rock album while talking about the influence of Mick Jagger and his band, The Rolling Stones.
