Well, Dove Cameron at Met Gala 2022, sported a white sheer gown that appeared more like something coming out of an alien movie. That’s a compliment though. The dress has been designed by Iris van Harpen, with structured tassels, and beautiful cut-out details. She paired it up with white stilettos by Le Silla, winged eyeliner, and a fine black hairpiece.
The Met Gala event has always been focused on the over-the-top fashions. Now, comes the most interesting part about her dress. It is officially called the ‘Spiral Nebula’ dress, which took 600 hours to make. Briefly, we may say that her bold look has stunned everyone. On this note, Dove shared that since the Gilded Age ‘was all about using new technology and textiles to make grand fashion, grand design, and cutting edge designs that no one had ever seen before, I think that Iris and I wanted to carry that same intention into tonight and have a modern and futuristic take on the Gilded Age.’
