The Rookie Season 4 Episode 20 arrives this coming Sunday with the promotional material shedding some light on all that will go down on the show next. However, before we delve into all that, here’s a brief recap of what transpired on the show in its previous outing. In Episode 19, we saw the team contending with a terroristic threat. After a bombing takes out the power grid, the FBI gets on the case. They close in on a suspect based on the DNA they procured. It’s a black man named Ezekiel and not the white Russian with the scar that the person who called in the suspicious activity described the perpetrator as.
FBI calls in Zeke’s guidance counselor and the oldest FBI trainee, Simone Clark. She manages to establish communication with Zeke, who recognizes her. Turns out, he wasn’t the culprit but just a kid with anxiety and sensory overload issues. FBI is reluctant to Simone’s input and plans to send her back to Quantico. However, she stays put and helps a great deal with the case. The case, meanwhile, takes turns after turns, leading the PD and the FBI toward a wide conspiracy, including Area 51 and the CIA.
The Rookie Season 4 Episode 20 Release Date & Preview
The Rookie Season 4 Episode 20 will release on May 1, 2022. The official synopsis for the twentieth Episode reads, “The team, alongside the LA division of the FBI, are in a race to stop bombs that have been scattered throughout the city by a suspected terrorist; the joint task force is suspicious of the CIA’s involvement in the situation.” Titled “Enervo,” the Episode is directed by Bill Roe, with the teleplay penned by Alexi Hawley and Terence Winter.
