A Couple of Cuckoos Episode 1 was out on 24th April 2022 and was titled “You’re Going to be my Boyfriend”. The Episode began with miss Umino giving birth, and by accident, the babies got switched. After a long time of 16 years, Nagi Umino will be meeting his biological parents for the first time. It was his birthday, and he seemed quite excited to meet his family, but his younger sister Sachi seemed really sad about this fact. Even though they were bickering early in the morning, as the time for Nagi to meet his family was reaching near, Sachi began to get emotional. As Nagi was on the way, he spotted a girl who seemed to be jumping off the bridge, but it later turned out that she was recording a video to put on her social media.
That fake suicide attempt was to make her parents not get her married. As Erika’s plans got failed now, she blackmailed Nagi to pretend to be her boyfriend. Later, she took Nagi shopping as they bought a couple of dresses for themselves. The whole day both of them were trying to get a good picture to send to her parents but got attacked by some of Erika’s followers. They reached out to Nagi to beat him but got beaten instead. Later, Nagi went to meet his real parents, and there he got to know how he decided to get married to the adoptive daughter of his real parents in order to keep both of them as their kids. The not-so-surprising part became when Erika entered the room, and Nagi figured that it was none other than Eriko with whom he was going to get married.

We all know how the first impression became the last impression. The first look into anything literally decides whether we are going to continue with it or not. The Rom-Com series entered the anticipated romantic series of 2022 with a kind of unique concept. Even though it will be found very common, in terms of anime, you will get to see it for the first time. Babies got switched at the time of their birth, and now their parents decided to get them married. Another thing that fans liked about the beginning is how it portrayed the main male character Nagi Umino. He can cook, he studies so well, even in his free time is planned to go to the library and also he is strong. He turned out to be the perfect boy every girl could ever ask for.
But the twist here is that even though the main characters here are Nagi and Erika, Nagi has a big fat crush on this other girl named Hiro Segawa. The whole vibe of the series is super messed up, but this is what made it super interesting. Coming onto the visuals of the series, Erika steals the show. Now she is a tough competitor and will surely make the list of best anime girls list. Other than her, all the characters look super fresh and beautiful.
