The raw scans and spoilers of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 83, titled “Gas vs. Bardock Part 2,” finally surfaced just a few hours ago. As you can guess from the title, the upcoming chapter will continue with the fight between Gas and Bardock that happened about 40 years ago. In the draft images, Gas is seen holding a heavy-weight melee weapon, and he smashes Bardock with it. However, Bardock somehow manages to block it with his bare hands and throw Gas into the mid-air.
In another leaked image, Gas dodged Bardock’s Ki blast and powered up even further. Adding salt to his injury, Bardock gets caught up in Gas’s aura, which completely messes him up. Thus, Bardock is seen lying on the ground with a grave injury. How did he manage to turn the tables around from there? Chapter 83 will give us all our answers. Gas keeps talking about a fierce form of Bardock that he is scared of, so I am guessing that it can be the classic Ozaru transformation or something even worse. Dragon Ball Super Chapter 82 Recap
In Chapter 82, Goku keeps teleporting from one part of the Universe to another, thereby keeping Gas occupied and buying time for Granolah to recover. He is aware that he won’t be able to defeat Gas by himself, at least not at the stage he currently is. Instant transmission is a technique that Goku has been mastering for years, and naturally, he is far superior to Gas in it. Thus, Goku keeps prolonging the fight relying solely upon this technique.
Meanwhile, Elec and his crew are trying their best to track Gas down. They locate him in the infamous Galactic Prison, which is light-years away from Planet Cereal. The prison is full of the most notorious criminals, and surprisingly, some of them happen to know Gas. They share the hilarious event when Gas almost wet his pants in their last encounter. Before the conversation could go any further, Goku teleports them even further away to a planet where Whis was riding an elephant-like alien.
Goku immediately teleports back to Planet Cereal, leaving behind Gas alone with Whis. Burning in the fire of rage, Gas launches toward Goku’s location at a breakneck speed. Later, Whis warns Goku about the danger and reminds him that Goku must figure out his own way of mastering Ultra Instinct. As Goku is trying to think of a way to power up, Monaito gives him the Scouter that Bardock has left behind. It has one last file stored in it that played the recording of the Bardock vs Gas showdown.
