The JTBC Korean drama Green Mothers’ Club is touted not only as a slice-of-life show about five mothers in the neighborhood of Sanghwi Dong, but also as a mystery show about the strange happenings in the neighborhood and also in the interpersonal relationships of its residents. The show-runners are being praised for seamlessly navigating through showcasing the difficult parts of motherhood as well as keeping up with its lighthearted tone. So, it’s no wonder viewers can’t wait to sit back and relax with the latest Green Mothers’ Club Episode 4 when it airs.
The relationships between the five mothers are unique, to say the least. It is not genuine friendship, nor are they co-workers. Green Mothers’ Club is being praised for showcasing the kind of relationship where friendship, jealousy, and envy co-exist. Moreover, there is also a social hierarchy between them, where the more wealthy mothers or the mothers whose children are better performing in the school system are revered more. Here, we will let you know about the release date of the Green Mothers’ Club Episode 4.
Green Mothers’ Club: A Quick Recap
It has been established that Eun Pyo obtained her Ph.D. in Aesthetics and was on the road to obtaining a full professorship, but her dreams got squashed when her son accidentally posted a private rant about the professor she was under on the internet. She then gave up on her academic life and moved to Sanghwi Dong, taking financial help from her mother-in-law. Eun Pyo maintains that she doesn’t want to pressure her kids by forcing her dreams on them, but we see that she doesn’t give special attention to educating her kids and doesn’t do a good job at disciplining them either, as evident from the various instances of her kid Jung Dong Seok causing a ruckus.
Seo Jin Ha, who married Eun Pyo’s ex-lover Luis Bunuel is arguable the poshest of all the mothers in Sanghwi Dong. Her son, Henri, is a properly gifted child who is well-versed in five languages. She usually keeps her distance from the other moms and doesn’t disclose too much about herself to them. Seo Jin ha also tells Eun Pyo to be wary of Byeon Chun Hui, as she feels like she has a dark side to her.
Byeon Chun Hui is the typical Tiger Mom, waking up her kids early and turning on all the foreign language lessons even before the kids have brushed their teeth. She always seeks out the latest methods in making her kids the smartest among everyone. Chun Hui has bad blood with Kim Young Mi for reasons yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, Kim Young Mi has a bad rep in the neighborhood because her husband married her after cheating on his ex-wife with her. Park Yoon Joo is a relative of Eun Pyo, and not much of her personality has been revealed yet, except the fact that she and her husband cannot take care of the finances required to give their child a good education.
