The rocker was performing at his hometown concert in Detroit and decided to take a big step ahead that left everyone stunned!
The unexpected wedding nuptials started when the 46-year-old musician unexpectedly popped the question to his girlfriend who is also fellow musician Olivia Jean. The romantic moment came in when the pair performed a rendition of The White Stripes’ 2001 single “Hotel Yorba” at the Masonic Temple. The artist did not go for a conventional wedding and did a rather on stage wedding like no other!
Jack White Popped The Question To Jean On Stage!
As Jack popped the question, he further suggested that why don’t they just do this right there and get married already! The wedding nuptials were soon set in motion after Jack received a yes from teary-eyed Jean. Her band was the opening act at the show, as White continued the song’s final verse that resonated as it says, “ Let’s get married/ In a big cathedral by a priest/ ’cause if I’m the man that you love the most…” Take a look at this mesmerising performance by Jack White.

White’s mother and Jean’s father were also in attendance to bless the couple. Without wasting much time, Jean and Jack exchanged rings onstage. Third Man Records co-founder Ben Swank officiated the wedding. ceremony. The crowd was not able to capture the moment on video as White doesn’t allow cell phones at his concerts which kept the entire wedding private.
The musician was previously married to White Stripes member Meg White. However, marital bliss was short-lived and stayed from 1996 to 2000. He also tied the knot with model and singer Karen Elson and was married from 2005 to 2013. The two share a son and daughter. The musician is having an eventful year ahead as he is releasing albums and is touring as well. Not only that but Jack White has teased the possibility that he might release a scrapped 1986 Prince album.
