The movie, Extraction has garnered many excellent reviews for Chris’ performance and the intensity of the fight and escape scenes. The movie, Extraction came out on April 24, 2020. The fascinating narrative of a soldier who was charged with rescuing a kid from a prominent drug smuggler is the main plot of the action film. The entirety of the film takes place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, India. Dhaka is one of the world’s most densely populated cities in India. However, India is an absolutely great choice as the filming location. It is a diverse country with its major slogan being “unity in diversity”.
So, the production team of the film took the combat scenes in the small bustling market in the cities of Ahmedabad and Mumbai. While the other scenes were shot in Thailand. This is not all! The accident while driving scenario was shot near the river on Ashram Road. Thereafter the shoot resumed in Mumbai. In the little town of Tha Pha, located in the Ban Pong District, the production revised their filming by transforming the site into a huge set for the film.
According to Sam Hargrave, the director, the fighting scenes were difficult to shoot in the congested areas of India, which is why they took the cinematography of the film to different places. The Conspiracy in the film, Extraction…
Basically, Extraction is more of an action and a violent film. It consisted of the most amount of combats and fight scenes because of its narration. In the film, there was a young child named Ovi, the son of an imprisoned Indian drug lord, who accidentally becomes a victim in the conflict between drug lords in an underworld of drug barons and traffickers. Then a mercenary soldier named Tyler Rake was charged with rescuing the child from the drug dealers. On the other hand, Tyler was in the trauma of his dead kid. Then there comes a character named Saju, who is on the search for Ovi as his father’s helper.
Both Saju and Tyler were on the mission to save Ovi, which cause a knife fight between them, but Tyler successfully saved Ovi and gets him to a safe house. In the end, Tyler and Saju teamed up together after knowing each other reason for saving the kid. The climax of the movie had happened on the bridge where Saju was killed, and Tyler got severely injured, but he successfully protects Ovi. Tyler sacrifices his life by jumping off the bridge as some visions of his murdered kid flash through his eyes.

Extraction was the most-streamed program in its first weekend, which came to the sixth position in its second week. The plot of the film was rather simple and stunningly narrated. The cast’s performance was also like the cherry on the top of the cake, which creates the curiosity to watch the whole movie. It has fantastic combat scene coordination and cinematography. Especially the fans have made a special place in their heart after seeing electrifying acting from Chris Hemsworth. Lastly, the movie is available on the streaming platform Netflix.
