“Anime characters have been with me through thick and thin, even when no one else was. They inspire me to push my limits. They may be lifeless, but they give meaning to my life.” Those were some of the overdramatic lines that I resort to when normies laugh at me for celebrating the birthdays of anime characters. Guess what; I am on my way to celebrating the birthdays of my favorite anime characters in November too.
By celebrating, I don’t just mean an online wish or a tweet. I am talking about binging all their cool moments with my weeb friends and appreciating the artists for gifting us the character. I may go as far as buying official merchandise or cutting a cake if my pocket permits. In case you want to do the same, we have brought together all the anime characters who have their birthdays in November.
Chojuro (Naruto)
The Hidden Mist Village is famous (or infamous) for its Seven Ninja Swordsmen, and Chojuro was one of them. Don’t jump to conclusions already; Chojuro is nothing as scary as his predecessors. Instead, he was Kirigakure’s loyal shinobi who wouldn’t hesitate to face anyone if its for Fifth Mizukage’s safety.
Later on, in the Boruto series, he becomes the next Mizukage himself. His birthday was on November 1, and I am pretty sure that Hidden Mist must have arranged quite an event to celebrate that special day.
Armin Alert (Attack on Titan)
Armin Alert is one of the three main characters of the Attack on Titan series. You can call him the ‘brains’ of the three protagonists since the other two lacked it throughout the series. He was born on 3rd November, just like many other Eldians living cluelessly within the walls. But he kept on questing the unjust rules that the government wanted to impose upon them. It was Armin’s dream to explore the world beyond the walls that pushed Eren to join the Survey Corps.
Kagura (Gintama)
Just like Armin, Gintama’s main female protagonist is born on November 3. Despite being born a member of Yato tribe, she refused to accept her legacy and preferred to live a normal life. Now, solving a problem calmly isn’t her cup of tea; she doesn’t think twice before resorting to violence. It’s really a relief that it’s her sister who turns out to be an antagonist and not her.
Chi Chi (Dragon Ball)
Even when it comes to choosing life partners, Goku isn’t far behind Vegeta, who married the richest woman on the Earth. Goku married the princess of the Fire Mountain, daughter of the Ox-King, and it was years before he met Vegeta. As a kid, Chi Chi was very shy and bashful, but she grew up into a fierce wife. Her birthday is on November 5, and I hope Goku hasn’t forgotten about it.
Jiang Cheng (Mo Dao Zu Shi)
Tired of Japanese characters? Here we bring an anime character from China with November birthday. Jiang Cheng was born on November 5. Being the leader of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan, his birthday holds quite a significance. He was the only brother-like figure that Wei Wuxian had. However, this brotherly love turned into profound hatred after Wei Wuxia killed his sister, Jiang Yanli.
Rock Lee (Naruto)
Who can ever forget the epic Lee vs. Gaara fight in the Chunin exam? That was definitely the best ‘weight dropping’ movent we have ever seen. Despite lacking any ninjutsu or genjutsu skill, he followed the footsteps of Guy sensei to become one of the Konoha’s greatest Shinobis. Unlike Sasuke and Neji, who were born special, he relied on sheer hard work snd intense training. He is still one of the fan-favorite characters, and he cuts cake on November 5 only if he gets some free time from his strict training Schedule.

Pan (Dragon Ball)
Growing up with your favorite anime is weird sometimes. Think for yourself, did you ever think that Goku will be a grandfather someday? Yes, the day has come. He may not look like one, but he is technically grandpa Goku now. His granddaughter, Pan, was born to Gohan and Vidal on November 8, right after Beerus sama’s departure from Earth. Her contribution towards saving Earth began even before her birth as she helped in Goku’s Super Saiyan God transformation while in Vidal’s womb.
Sasori (Naruto)
Sasori was one of the members of the infamous terrorist organization Akatsuki, which was the sole symbol of fear and pain once upon a time. He was born in the hidden sand village on November 8 as Granny Chihyo’s grandson. However, I don’t think Sasori got many occasions to celebrate his birthday as his parents were always busy in war and died fighting in a secret mission. Despite being someone who was defeated by Sakura, he was undoubtedly the best puppet master of all time. If it wasn’t for his subtle temptation to die in the hands of his parents (as puppets), in no way could he have been defeated?
Tadashi Yamaguchi (Haikyuu)
Karasuno’s Spear Pipsqueak, Tadashi Yamaguchi, is another anime character with a November birthday. He was born on November 10 and was extremely insecure right from his very childhood days. Like many of us, he tends to lose his nerves in a huge crowd and starts doubting his abilities. If Karasuno plans to throw him a party, they mustn’t make it too grand since he really hates to be the center of attention.
Roronoa Zoro (One Piece)
“Muscular body, lightly tanned skin, armed with three swords.” That’s the description anyone had of the infamous ‘Pirate Hunter’ Zoro. Now, I don’t think that the greatest swordsman of One Piece needs any introduction. You don’t need to be a One Piece fan to know how cool this character is.
Currently, he roams around with a bounty of 320,000,000. Yes, you read the digits right; that’s how desperate people are to get him killed. He is undoubtedly the most popular character on this list, and millions of One Piece fans are looking forward to cherishing his birthday on November 11.
Jiraiya (Naruto)
We talk about his jutsus, we talk about his teachings, but hardly do we talk about his birthday. Born on November 11, he was prophesized to guide the child who will bring a drastic change to the shinobi world. He played a huge role in shaping Hokage Naruto Uzumaki you see today. From Rasengan to Sage Mode, almost every skill (except clone jutsu) that Naruto is known for today was taught to him by this legendary Sanin.
The tale of gallant Jiraiya came to an end as he selflessly laid down his life safeguarding Konoha from Pain. His life was full of regrets, his failure to save either his student or his teacher haunted him till his dying moments.

Tetsurou Kuroo (Haikyuu)
You know that the anime character is super cool when at least one of their eyes is covered, and Nekoma High’s Tetsurou Kuro is no exception. He is the scheming captain who is going to get a lot of attention in the upcoming match between Karasuno and Nekoma.
Unlike most other egoistic captains, he shares a strong bond with his teammates and is aware of their strengths and weaknesses. His birthday is on 17th November, and I can already imagine team Nekoma surprising him with a cake.
Sai (Naruto)
Sai is a quiet member of the gang with too much going on his mind. Why won’t he be like this? Danzo didn’t teach him anything other than assassination and spying skills. His original mission was to infiltrate Team 7 and to assassinate Sasuke Uchiha on sight. However, like many other characters, he too got a change of heart after getting along with Naruto.
Right now, he is an important hidden leaf shinobi and is married to Ino Yamanaka. She must already be planning something to celebrate her husband’s birthday on 23rd November.
Future Trunks (Dragon Ball)
This is the trickiest birthday on the list. The kid trunks we see in Dragon Ball Super was born on July 1st, but the grown-up Future Trunks who occasionally shows up were supposedly born on November 21st. This only confirms how different the future timeline is from the original one. It must be confusing for Bulma to remember two birthdays for her son.
Ume Matsuzaka (Crayon Shinchan)
‘Matsuzaka ma’am,’ the name brings back warm childhood memories of the lazy afternoons we have spent watching Shin-chan. For those who wondered about her age and birthday, she was born on November 11 and is currently 24.
No matter how many times she tries to be calm and callous, she absolutely loves surprises. Deep down, she can’t help expecting a secret birthday preparation on her special day.
Eita Semi (Haikyuu)
Eita Semi is another one of many less talked about Haiyuu characters, and his birthday is on November 11. Apart from being Shiratorizawa Academy’s setter, he is a civil servant and a musician in a band. He is highly competitive and despises Shirabu for becoming the team’s regular starting setter. However, he acknowledges his teammates’ abilities and tries hard to improve his game.
Rin Nohara (Naruto)
Another Naruto character with a November birthday, Rin Nohara, is the root cause behind the Fourth Great Shinobi War. Rin’s death ignited the flames of vengeance in Obito’s heart, making him plot the largest genocide of history. Her birthday was on November 15, a date Obito couldn’t forget even on the other side of the grave.
