The Jujutsu Kaisen fandom was abuzz with leaked results from the 4th Jujutsu Kaisen popularity poll, along with spoilers and raw scans for the next official release.
This information was brought to light by the reputable Twitter user @Go_Jover (Myamura), who is well-known for sharing reliable series news. Myamura also provided updates on the health status of the series’ creator, Gege Akutami.
While the full results of the popularity poll were not disclosed, Myamura shared the top three characters, which include some familiar faces.
Gojo Dominates the 4th Jujutsu Kaisen Popularity Poll
Megumi Fushiguro secured the third spot, protagonist Yuji Itadori came in second, and for the first time in the series’ history, Satoru Gojo clinched first place.
This marks Gojo’s first victory in a popularity poll, a significant achievement given that he never placed higher than second in the previous three polls and had never surpassed 17 thousand votes.
The timing of Gojo’s victory is surprising, considering the character’s recent removal from the story through his death.
4th Popularity Poll Results:
1️⃣ GOJO SATORU
2️⃣ YUJI ITADORI
3️⃣ MEGUMI FUSHIGURO
But it seems we don't have the full results yet in this week's magzine. Gotta wait a bit more to how others ranked

Although he has appeared in flashbacks, the latest official release confirmed that he will not return in a contemporary sense. Despite the speculation, it is unlikely that Akutami killed off Gojo to influence the poll results, although the mangaka’s documented dislike for the character adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.
Gojo’s first-place finish is a testament to his undeniable popularity among fans, despite not winning any previous polls. This long-awaited recognition reflects his significant impact on the series and its fanbase.
Although the exact vote count for the 4th poll has not been revealed, it is expected that Gojo’s victory will be confirmed when the official numbers are released on Monday, June 10.
Beyond Gojo’s triumph, fans are also eager to see where other key characters rank, including Fumihiko Takaba, Yuta Okkotsu, Hiromi Higuruma, Aoi Todo, Choso, and Maki Zen’in. While the popularity polls are not definitive measures of fan perception, they do provide valuable insights into general sentiment, especially among Japanese fans.
Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018 and continues to be regularly serialized.
The series was adapted into an anime by MAPPA Studios in 2020, with its second season airing in late 2023 and a third season currently in production. As fans await the official release of the 4th Jujutsu Kaisen popularity poll results, the leaked top three have already sparked excitement and discussion within the community.
