Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s excitement has been palpable among fans. While Bandai Namco hasn’t yet confirmed a release date, they’ve been consistently sharing exciting updates.
When it comes to Dragon Ball games, the character roster is always a hot topic, and Sparking Zero is no exception. With over 164 confirmed characters, ranging from beloved figures like Goku and Vegeta to lesser-known characters such as Toppo and Dyspo, the anticipation is high.
Recently, a dedicated fan expressed disappointment over the perceived lack of GT representation in the game. Specifically, the fan is advocating for Beast Gohan to be included, even sharing an image of Gohan in his Beast form.
However, given that this form was introduced in the 2022 movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the fan believes it’s unlikely that Beast Gohan will make it into the base game.
Another fan also shares the sentiment that Beast Gohan won’t make the cut for the base roster. Instead, they speculate that characters like Gamma 1 and 2, Cell Max, higher forms of Piccolo such as Orange and Giant, and other powerful figures will likely be introduced as DLC.
In a recent interview with industry insiders Laun Le Mal, Sofian Legeek, and key developers from Spike Chunsoft, significant updates about Sparking Zero were discussed.
While the base roster focuses on characters from Dragon Ball Z and Super, producers Jun Furutanin and Ryo Mito hinted at the inclusion of GT and movie characters through future DLC releases.
This confirms that fans can expect to see characters like Beast Gohan in action eventually, albeit possibly through downloadable content rather than the initial game release.
