Hazbin Hotel made a memorable splash well before its Amazon Video debut, attracting a huge following with its original animated pilot.

Crafted by Vivienne Medrano, the series blends stylish animation with edgy humor and shows an alternative “Hell” where a distinctive hotel endeavors to rehabilitate Hell’s inhabitants. It swiftly became one of the most highly anticipated animated series in North America.

In addition to Hazbin Hotel, Medrano has expanded her universe with the animated series Helluva Boss, which is exclusively available on YouTube and is currently airing its second season. While there’s no confirmation yet, the success of Charlie’s escapades suggests that the spin-off could eventually find its way to Amazon as well.

While Hazbin Hotel hasn’t been greenlit for a third season, Medrano has expressed her commitment to continuing the animated series for years to come.

Recently, voice actors from Hazbin Hotel surprised fans at a convention by revealing that the voice recording for the second season has already finished.

This indicates the rapid progress being made by the creative team to bring back Charlie and the other residents of Hell to the small screen. If you haven’t watched the first season of Hazbin Hotel yet, it’s available for streaming on Amazon Video.

The series follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her ambitious goal of rehabilitating demons to reduce overpopulation peacefully. After angels impose a yearly extermination, Charlie opens a hotel hoping patrons will “check out” into Heaven.

Despite mockery from most of Hell, her partner Vaggie and their first test subject, adult film star Angel Dust, stand by her side. With the help of the “Radio Demon,” Charlie’s dream begins to take shape.
