Montez Ford, a beloved WWE Superstar known for his athleticism and energy, recently honored his past by visiting the Marines.
Ford, a former Marine himself, paid his respects to active service members stationed at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville.
Ex-Marine Star Visits Naval Station
Fans adore Ford, who currently performs alongside Angelo Dawkins as part of the popular tag team The Street Profits. However, before his WWE career, Ford served in the U.S. Marine Corps under his real name, Kenneth Crawford.
Sharing his experience on Instagram, Ford expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit the servicemen and women. He highlighted the importance of showing appreciation for those who serve, especially as a veteran himself.
“This past Thursday before SmackDown, I had the pleasure of visiting some of our servicemen & women at the Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville!” Ford wrote. “Being a veteran myself, it means a lot to not only make these visits, but to continue to show appreciation for our military.”
Ford also thanked the personnel for their time and dedication, expressing his continued support. He acknowledged the partnership with WWE and The Usos that allows these visits to happen.
While Ford has discussed the possibility of fighting in the UFC with Nick Khan, his respect for the Marine Corps remains strong. This visit serves as a reminder of his dedication to those who serve.
