The world is thrown into chaos when news spreads of an asteroid hurtling towards Earth, set to collide in just 200 days. Among those affected is Jin Se Kyung, a middle-school teacher, who decides to leave her job to volunteer at the city hall’s child and youth division, striving to protect endangered children.
Meanwhile, her longtime boyfriend, Ha Yoon Sang, returns from the United States, where he works as a researcher, to be with her during this crisis. As panic spreads within the population, others like Woo Sung Jae, an assistant priest, step up to support their communities. With the presiding priest gone, Woo Sung Jae takes on the responsibility of caring for parishioners at his church.
Similarly, Kang In A, a commander of a combat support battalion, works tirelessly to provide essential supplies, transportation, and security in the now-devastated Woongchun City, demonstrating strong dedication in the face of impending doom.
