With no denying it, Roxanne Perez has become the NXT Women’s Champion and the division’s shining star. In fact, following her title victory, she made history by becoming a member of an exclusive club.

On Monday Night Raw, WWE highlighted NXT performers as NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov engaged in singles contests. As the top NXT men’s star, Dragunov proved his dominance by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura. Perez, meanwhile, prevailed over Indi Hartwell in her bout.
Following Stand & Deliver, when Perez won the NXT Women’s Title by defeating Lyra Valkyria and Dragunov successfully defended his NXT Title against Tony D’Angelo, these appearances took place.
With her recent championship victory, Roxanne Perez has joined Charlotte Flair and Shayna Baszler as the only two-time NXT Women’s Champions in history, as WWE NXT noted on Twitter.
Because of her speedy ascent and outstanding performance in a short amount of time, Perez has gained the respect of both WWE management and fans.
Since fans are clearly committed to Roxanne Perez’s current heel role, we will have to wait and see if she ends up becoming a reliable NXT Women’s Champion.
