The teams exchanged leads throughout, ending the third quarter with the Spurs ahead by seven points. However, Maxey’s plays in the fourth quarter brought the Sixers to a 108-106 deficit.
The game went into overtime, and even a second overtime, with both teams fighting fiercely. Ricky Council IV made a crucial 3-pointer to tie the score, and later, his two free throws secured the Sixers’ two-point advantage, leading to their thrilling win.
